Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

So Green people are even worse than white people.
it’s ecological don’t ya know. how do you spell slavery?
Americans should shove this story down the “Green” loving energy throat of Gov. Jerry Brown and his elitist ilk. Those so blinded by their “progressive” ideology that they’ll ruthlessly push for their economy crushing green energy madness in spite of the great harm done are utterly full moon beam barking mad and black hearted evil. This. Is. Our. Future. Those who mine will become District 12. And Canada’s most ethical environmentally responsible development of energy resources will pass into oblivion.
So funny how we North Americans are racist if we question the idiocy of a coloured person, because of the legacy of slavery apparently.
Yet all the old sins are back,Slavery, especially child slavery, piracy, kidnapping and despotism(if thats a word).Murder, arson and theft are normative governance once again.
And to even suggest that those Africans sold into slavery by their neighbours were about to confer a blessing onto their grandchildren,is “hate speech” of the highest order.
Yet look at this world.
Who is better off?
We in the “West” have never had it so good.
There is a reason citizens of much poorer countries will do and say anything to come here.
Law and order is priceless, yet it takes an informed and active citizenry to keep it.
Living fat and lazy leads to now.
It’s actually worse from that, thanks to our watermelon rent seekers:
“Big Wind’s Dirty Little Secret: Toxic Lakes and Radioactive Waste.”
Another environmental trade-off concerns the materials necessary to construct wind turbines. Modern wind turbines depend on rare earth minerals mined primarily from China. Unfortunately, given federal regulations in the U.S. that restrict rare earth mineral development and China’s poor record of environmental stewardship, the process of extracting these minerals imposes wretched environmental and public health impacts on local communities. It’s a story Big Wind doesn’t want you to hear.”
Manufacturing wind turbines is a resource-intensive process. A typical wind turbine contains more than 8,000 different components, many of which are made from steel, cast iron, and concrete. One such component are magnets made from neodymium and dysprosium, rare earth minerals mined almost exclusively in China, which controls 95 percent of the world’s supply of rare earth minerals.”
Simon Parry from the Daily Mail traveled to Baotou, China, to see the mines, factories, and dumping grounds associated with China’s rare-earths industry. What he found was truly haunting:”
As more factories sprang up, the banks grew higher, the lake grew larger and the stench and fumes grew more overwhelming.
‘It turned into a mountain that towered over us,’ says Mr Su. ‘Anything we planted just withered, then our animals started to sicken and die.’ ”
People too began to suffer. Dalahai villagers say their teeth began to fall out, their hair turned white at unusually young ages, and they suffered from severe skin and respiratory diseases. Children were born with soft bones and cancer rates rocketed.”
Official studies carried out five years ago in Dalahai village confirmed there were unusually high rates of cancer along with high rates of osteoporosis and skin and respiratory diseases. The lake’s radiation levels are ten times higher than in the surrounding countryside, the studies found.”

Not only all of that, but wind turbines are actually as “renewable” as oil wells. Typically a wind turbine has the rotor wear out, and there are no new spare parts made. Then the wind turbine can no more generate energy than a dry well. Often, a wind turbine will freeze and then burn well before this happens. Even if spare rotors were available, they would replace the worn out ones which contain the rare earth elements, and I doubt the latter is recycled when they throw away the worn out rotors. In short, rare earth elements (in solar panels as well as wind turbines) are spent, and new sources must be mined for new panels and turbines. The difference is, “fossil” fuel is plentiful and cheap, and known resources will last at least into the next century. Has anyone ever calculated “peak rare earths”? How many new solar panels and wind turbines will the known supply of rare earth support?
And the noise pollution. How come there are no windmills near Turdeau’s 22 room cottage?
well. (no pun intended)
I just copy&pasted the link into Word.

Blood batteries

The “greens” count the human cost as “acceptable losses” in the WAR to … “save the planet”. An acceptable level of “collateral damage”. Hey! It’s not like the children of Atherton or Palo Alto are being harmed! Hell, they get to breathe slightly cleaner air. ANY cost is acceptable to save “green” children.
“Blood batteries”
You win Internet for today.
I don’t care for these children. They had the miserable luck of being born in Africa and if they were’n used for slave labor in the mines they would be used for slave labor elsewhere, or raped to death, or die from Ebola, or be eaten. It is the African way. Just don;t bring them here.
An exert from an essay that caused a $hitstorm fifteen years ago:
http://www.kimdutoit.com/2017/05/05/let-africa-sink/
“My favorite African story actually happened after I left the country. An American executive took a job over there, and on his very first day, the newspaper headlines read:
“Three Headless Bodies Found”.
The next day: “Three Heads Found”.
The third day: “Heads Don’t Match Bodies”.”
If it can’t be grown, it’s gotta be mined. Every product we use comes down to one of those two categories.
“Blood batteries”
LOL good one!

Greenies, in my experience, simply deny that there could be any bad effects from their new Religion.
This can’t be right. the United States is the only country that enslaves black people. Africa is the leader in environmental goodness and freedom for all. I’m pretty sure I seen that in a movie somewhere.

What to add…?
We have far better uses for Congo’s cobalt than sparky cars.
It would be far better applied to “salting” atomic bombs to make sure that when we defeat China in the Third World War, she will stay defeated, what remains of her cities left uninhabitable for a hundred years.
Oh, rest assured the Chinese are working on salted bombs to use on us if we don’t kowtow. What do you think THEY want the Congo for?
Plus the Chicoms always plan long term. Their strategy to win is measure in centuries.
Just like the Religion of Peace.
Maybe I’m looking at this wrong but I can’t help but compare this to the seal hunt here in Canada.
You might think I’m stretching, but if it weren’t for searching the rocks for cobalt what would they be doing to earn some food?
No. I’m not arguing for electric cars or Gang Green’s policies, but if there were a better alternative to earn the money they need for food wouldn’t they be doing it? Genuine question on my part.
Same thing for the seal hunt. It was a living.
I tend to agree with you there. If the next best alternative for these wretched little kids was the all too common starvation of the region, they are then relatively better off working in the mines even under horrible conditions. Same goes for sweatshops in the third world. Starvation may not be the goal of the do-gooders but it is all too likely the unintended consequence of their actions aimed at shutting them down. Economic development starts in a primitive and unproductive level particularly in corrupt third world shit holes.
I recall once getting into an argument with a white “progressive” student of a professional continuing ed. class I was instructing and when a black African student (recent immigrant) stated in my defense that when the alternative to harsh working conditions is “nothing”, that job is preferable, which seemed to leave the progressive lost for words.
Meanwhile … the Gates Foundation and a bevy of other leftist do-gooder Foundations … are solving the EASY problems of Africa … buying mosquito netting, quinine water, and maxi-pads. Launching “self-esteem” programs … for girls. But solve the structural poverty and political corruption? They don’t even try. They wouldn’t dare criticize the depravity of cultures who STILL buy and sell each other … as they did in the 18th and 19th centuries. White guilt keeps them from calling for an IMMEDIATE cessation of such horrific child labor as with digging for cobalt.
human species originated in ahfricah we are told?
betcha THAT included slavery then.
“Blood batteries” Excellent description.
Environmentalism, the modern imperialist settler.
Sacrificing people on the altar of Enviromentalism first they banned DDT because of Carson’s junk science and lies now its 4 year old’s working in cobalt mines all so some Eco-Wacko tree hugging granola bar munching vegan Dip-Wad can drive his or hers electric cars to the next Eco-Wacko events
