  1. Funny that. I looked at the Lake Huron region photo. I’m in Wasaga Beach on Georgian Bay’s southern shore. It’s been foucking cold here this winter. With the bay frozen over, albeit with pack ice, at least it tempers the snow somewhat. I am preparing, and have told the Triumphs in the bike barn, that Al Gore is full of sheit and the girls will have to wait a little longer than usual this year ….. due to global warming.

  2. I live on the north shore of Superior.. Its never been above 8 below since early December.. Mostly 25 to 35 below. Al Gore can kiss my butt..

  3. WUWT had a more recent picture of the ice cover over the Great Lakes just recently.
The Great Lakes may hit record ice cover this year

Lake Superior sets a new record for winter ice cover, other lakes are icing up fast.
Lake Superior is 92 percent frozen on the surface, breaking a 20-year-old record of 91 percent set on Feb. 5, 1994. Temperatures continue well below freezing. . . (more)

And all the brass monkeys are complaining over here where I live.

  4. When nature meets science……Mother Nature always wins.
Grade 10 Science, a hypothesis, a body of evidence to back your position, and IF it was false, toss it, start over.
New Socialist Science, If we really believe this, IS: “If we really publicize this, If we fudge data, If we are committed…..it will happen”
Ooops….EPIC Fail. Just like Communism and success without effort, equality, sharing without effort, Everyone equal……a fallicy, and a utopic dream.
Classic Fail…….Sorry Folks…..strength, commitment, effort, and wisdom will prevail. Eventually…. Nature, Orwell and Atlas Shrugs are TRUE.

  5. We are being told that the CO2 is responsible for climate variability…ie-heat and/or cold.
Thus, a reaction can be exothermic or endothermic at different times.
Who knew that the laws of thermodynamics were such hippie-like , free spirits eh?
That is…if I understand the issue correctly.

  6. Environment Canada will be along shortly to tell us it was a “milder than normal winter”…oh wait!…that was the prediction they gave for winter 2013/14 to the National Energy Board just before the propane industry “shorted” that heating fuel.

  7. Time to throw an Earth Day.
Time to bring over the big eared dope from England to tell us how we’re burning up. Time to leave the Commonwealth if he ever takes over the big chair.

  8. Didn’t you hear? Premier Whynney has had the Superior Palm declared a dangerous species since a liberal jogger was hit on the head by a coconut and came to their senses. If it saves just one lieberal voter…

  9. It’s OK everyone. The data has been “adjusted” to show no snow whatsoever in North America at the moment, thus proving global warming. C’mon folks, get with the program and pay, pay pay.
Or is it you’re just baaad raaacist waaarmist deeeniers who want to make the poor poorer with carbon taxes and higher energy costs? Ah hah!!! No wait.

  10. It is amazing what global warming because of the magic gas, can do.
It makes people fit, causes heart attacks, destroys political careers ,
I hate shovelling the stuff, maybe thats why all my trucks are 4x4s.
Last time the sun went quiet, society moved over to burning witches almost immediately.
I guess we should keep a vigil for the first enviro-nasty to blame the failure of Global Warming on witches.
