  1. Tammy Bruce’s radio program use to be on satelite radio and I listened everyday. She is incredible. Her views are very well thought out.

  2. Men have civilized women and women’s suffrage is root of all of society’s current ills. Other than that, she’s bang on.

  3. Every generation re-inventing the moral wheel.
All the Don Quixotes should be proud…heh

  4. Sounds like some common sense coming out of a feminist!
What gets me is how long it takes the average person to recognize the feminist propaganda and left wing hand wringing over the hardship that feminists say women experience for exactly the hog wash that it is.
Perhaps this represents a turn around in the logic of at least one lady. Bravo! Lets hope that within a reasonable amount of time it becomes the prevailing view.

  5. “Would it be wrong of me to notice that Tammy Bruce is pretty hot?”
Considering your moniker is Lickmuffin, I’m not surprised you ask.

  6. That’s what I was going to say, northbay trapper.
Love Tammy Bruce, outspoken, Conservative, gun totin’ lesbian that she is.

  7. Too late Tammy. The damage has been done. Not to women….Men!
Just watch a “man on the street” interview on an Ottawa TV channel. Jesus H.

  8. For some reason, I was reminded of Mel Brooks in Blazing Saddles: “We’ve gotta protect our phony-baloney jobs, gentlemen!”

  9. Men are already saying no in increasing numbers which is apparently beginning to panic the pantsuit crowd.

  10. Yes, but they had to fight for it because they didn’t have it. Men did have the vote, and they voted to give the vote to women.

  11. Feminist 2.0? Reason recently had a couple of articles that are similar to this idea – Freedom Feminism. I dunno, both sound too propaganda-ish. The word itself, feminism, is dated and carries too much baggage, adding another word doesn’t really help its image. Once progressives took over feminism it was doomed. It was useful during the transition period but women now have equality, freedom and choice. Time to move on and discard the term.
At the core of libertarianism is equality, tolerance and personal responsibility. If you have those then I don’t think you need “feminism” at all. Just women (and men) choosing their own path and not giving a damn about progressive or conservative activists/politics.
I’ve worked with Promise Keeper guys who had some fairly retrograde ideas about women. I’ve been in meetings with union feminists who obviously don’t respect SAHMs. Both types came across as control freaks and I couldn’t care less what they thought of my choices.

  12. In a nutshell – Feminism 1.0 was based on Lesbian misandry.
In other words you drank the communist funded society destroying homo coolaid, and then forced much of it down society’s throat.
No worries, they’ve moved on with other ventures now that this useful idiot plot has spent itself.

  13. Er…”Women civilise men”???
Sounds like there’s a whole pile of bullsh*t in Feminism 2.0 too.

  14. Glen, if not for a woman, you would be a sniper, living in a treehouse in the bush, eating Cheetos. Bathing, once in a blue moon, in a creek. A woman would never go for that (trust me, I know…:)

  15. Here’s ‘feminism’ for ya:
Four players banned from Iranian women’s national team for failing g-e-n-d-e-r tests
Players in Iran’s burgeoning professional women’s football league will now be subjected to mandatory g-e-n-d-e-r tests, after it has been revealed that four national team players were found guilty of not being women. The Telegraph reports:
The country’s football governing body is bringing in the random checks after it was revealed that several leading players – including four in the national women’s team – were either men who had not completed s-e-x change operations, or were suffering from s-e-xual development disorders.

  16. Sorry, but when you invoke the phony buzzword “dignity”, you’re already well on the road to losing the debate.
Where “a woman should be able to freely choose her own path in life”, that’s not dignity, that’s freedom. The dignity-peddlers want to put something ahead of freedom, and they’ve picked a more or less undefinable buzzword for the purpose. The left always camps out in areas that are poorly defined or understood, like the environment and discrimination, because it’s easier to “baffle them with BS”, and to recruit people with slogans rather than well-reasoned argument.
The radical feminists are just as bad as the worst men when it comes to treating the average woman as a second-class citizen. When they regard a housewife as a “traitor to the cause” or the like, that’s just as bad as the horndog “objectifier” who’s only interested in the quick conquest.
As with all leftists, the feminists use hypocrisy as a modus operandi. On the one hand, they want “employment equity” in the workplace, to show that men and women are treated “equally”. On the other, when it suits them, they claim women are more nurturing, or have other differences. But if that were true, it would explain why women choose less often to advance to the highest levels in the business or other professional worlds – which puts the lie to phony concepts like “employment equity”. Meanwhile, the majority in some professions like teaching and nursing are women, and the feminists never utter a peep about “employment equity” for them.
As for “pay equity”, has anyone ever shown that there are major differences between the salaries and benefits for a man and a woman doing the same job with the same degree of competence at the same workplace? That’s the real test, not the apples-and-oranges flim-flammery that they substitute.
It’s all just another cheap power-grab, taking advantage of confusion in the intellectual ranks following the anti-mind philosophies that originated with Kant and Hegel.
