Animal extremism’s long reach;
A healthy, two-year-old giraffe was killed by a Danish zoo Sunday, and some of its remains were fed to lions.
Marius was killed by a shot in the head with a bolt gun by officials at Copenhagen Zoo, which says the animal had to be put down because of European laws on inbreeding, England’s Guardian newspaper reported.
Will this rule be applied to islamist folks as well?
Jeez, that would be terrible news for a good half of the population and almost all recent immigrants. The political class would be decimated.

I’ve heard the expression eating high on the hog, but eating high on the giraffe, that would have an entirely new meaning.
I’d read a few years past (“gates of vienna” or “jihadwatch” or …?) that in Denmark, the general populace was less than 2% islamic, yet the mental institutions were near 30% islamist.
That sort of overrepresentation seems to indicate some sort of underlying cause… not a recent poverty issue. Perhaps they could stop marrying between 1st and 2nd cousins?
and… although I in no way support the killing of giraffes for this purpose, it couldn’t have been given to another zoo? the lion must have felt like his ship had come in for the day. Not that I care for the feelings of lions. uff.

So what … he was just an animal that was apparently humanely killed. What about all the unborn innocent children that are inhumanely killed every day. Where’s the outrage? What a sick world we live in!

Surely they could have simply shipped him back to Kenya, the land of opportunity, and turned him loose. Who knows? He might have grown up to become president of the USA. He’d certainly stand head and shoulders above the incumbent.
I find it amazing that the zoo officials showed the giraffe laying on the ground while crowds of zoo visitors watched them cut it up. Very pragmatic people, the Danes, especially since London Zoo wanted the animal. A bolt gun is a kinder death as they could have just put the giraffe in with the lions if the were wanting a teaching moment. I found it quite sad really, they are so beautiful. Good thing they don’t have an old Panda that needs putting down.
Seems like a logical and pragmatic approach to the problam … giraffe’s are not endangered and a quality breeding program at the zoo’s makes perfect sense. 50 years ago all of those children would have been exposed to butchering of farm animals in less ideal conditions!

yeah, it seems like gelding the animal and letting another zoo exhibit it would have been a more sensible approach.
Unnecessarily culling giraffes when they should be culling muzzies, hope they enjoy the unintended consequences of Eurabia.

I can think of a lot of groups to begin applying this concept to ; islamists, climate warmists, animal rights nuts, lefties……. I can’t but think much of the nonsense that comes out of their mouths was caused by inbreeding.
So let me get this straight, Europeans have a major problem with Canadians killing seals for fur and meat but no problem killing giraffes in public? I guess we’ve just been killing the wrong animal.

This one of my favorite people, Temple Grandin explaining the humane slaughter methods she developed which are now frequently used all over the world. The bold gun is shown. Temple is autistic as you may notice but this did not stop her from her her work for animals. (and the bottom line for the meat industry)
