  1. The scariest part of this story is that the mainstream media have chosen to ignore this story. If it wasn’t for the internet Western Civilization wouldn’t have a chance of survival.

  2. Such poems did not sit well with the Muslim community, which caused Mr. Alsaegh to be alienated from it. He received threats because of his support for the Jewish people, was called an infidel and a traitor to Islam, but he continued with his writing of poems and did not take the threats too seriously.
    Positive proof that the so-called ‘moderate’ Muslims are the ones who never spent any time reading the Koran or Hadith.

    I bet little to nothing is done to find the sadists who did this. After all one of the hallmarks of Sharia law is physical mutilation of Women, Men or Children. Its part of their cultural diversity.

  8. Muslims who decide not to hate Jews are labelled “Islamophobes”? If we were to follow that logic then it pretty much settles the question: Islam would in in fact be fundamentally anti-Semitic — there would in fact be no room for a kind of Islam that is accomodating to Jews or other religions. “All Muslims are extremists” would be an ipso facto true statement. The problem is, the latter statement is also in and of itself “Islamophobic”.
    So it’s circular thinking — you’re damned if you do and you’re damned if you don’t, and I think it’s clear at this point that the entire “Islamophobia” argument is false and politically/ideologically motivated. It’s designed not to diminish “Islamophobia” — whether real or imagined — but to create as much conflict between Islam and other religions as possible. The political Left is turning “Islamophobia” into a classical Marxist class warfare issue for the purpose of encouraging religious violence, hence justifying absolute control over, or destruction of, religion in general.
    I can’t wait until Muslim radicals realize that their Left atheist enablers in the West are manipulating them to destroy religious rights in general. When Muslims realize that they were duped, I’ll be tempted to “convert” to Islam temporarily when Muslim mobs take over the streets just so I can have the pleasure of grabbing a Left atheist infidel and bludgeoning the bugger black and blue — payback for creating the mess in the first place…
    We’re already seeing the phenonomen in parts of Europe — Muslims aren’t just beating up Jews and Christians, but also Gays, Feminists, and other Left apologists who thought they could use the “Islamophobia” issue for their own political purposes.

  10. I’ve said this before and I think it bears repeating. The second anything like this happened, it should have nipped in the bud before it could ever escalate. I don’t care about the hard-hitting self-effacement this civilisation would have to undergo in order to stop this crap, let it be done. It’s either that or descend into chaos. The next time this thing happens (WHEN, not IF), hunt the culprits down and publicise their crime and punishment to an insane degree. Let the apologists choke on their own weakness and stupidity when they try to excuse this kind of brutality. Let it be clear that in this part of the world, we don’t carve people up or hate others simply for being alive.
    It’s time to enter the twenty-first century.

  11. The photo was said to have been taken at the hospital where he went for treatment after the “knife attack”.
    Those look like scratches rather than anything carved with a knife. If his assailants were radical Muslims,they certainly didn’t intend to do much harm to him.
    My cat has done worse to stay inside for the night.
    The gentleman wouldn’t happen to be sensation seeker,would he?

    Then, in this modern age of blackberries, cel phone videos, etc., if it really did occur, arrests will happen in no time…I mean, it didn’t happen in Vancouver, did it.

    Huh? They held a gun to the guy’s head! So in addition to assault, forcible confinement, auto hijacking, bodily harm and probably death threats, he had a gun held to him to make sure he cooperated. And he obviously cooperated, he sat perfectly still (as you and I also would) — the knife marks show no sign of struggle as the Star of David was carved into his back. Methinks, that’s probably why they didn’t kill him.
