  1. By a remarkable coincidence I was running some perfectly legitimate web apps through a German proxy when I saw this, got “this video not available in your country” when I tried the link. IIIIIIIIIInteresting. Probably a copyright thing, but maybe not.

  2. Too funny. That was a time when we were not too worried about being sensitive or accomodating to the culture and beliefs of our enemies.
Imagine today a Simpsons or Spongebob Squarepants episode featuring imbeciles in beards and robes screaming Allah Akbar. The NDP leftbot types (motto “You can’t say that”) would be utterly apoplectic.

  3. I must be missing something – why is this cartoon banned? I watched this type of cartoon all through my childhood, they had a newsreel and a cartoon before the main feature – I do not remember this one but we thought this type hollarious – less funny were the people we knew who told my parents about Stalin’s gulags. I was terrified of Communism. I still am. I’d like to see a series of cartoons lampooning Joe Stalin and Mr. Putin to make my fears less sinister. When people laugh AT someone they take away that person’s power. Good therapy IMO.
