Do the Liberals Have a Permanent Lock on Ruling Over Canadians?

Mario Zelaya is a proud Canadian and an outspoken critic of Leftist governance in Canada. A few days ago, he engaged in a discussion with Elie Cantin-Nantel.

It’s a very interesting discussion that every Canadian should watch.

Where I disagree with him is the premise that “Mark Carney May Not Recover From This”. My reasons are simple: I don’t believe that Carney and the federal Liberals are doing ANYTHING in the best interest of Canadians. I strongly believe they are taking directions from a group of people above the Canadian government, and very likely outside of Canada. So, as long as Carney satisfies what his real bosses want and the Liberals continue to control the legacy media like the puppets they are, nothing will change. The sheeple will continue to buy into the Elbows Up narrative. Finally, make no mistake, there will be a new boogeyman defined after Trump exits office.

  3. Sadly, this country has a population that is completely captured by propaganda, and enjoying it.
And they claim to be “informed” and “smart”.
    Good little sheeple.
Do we all now understand how Germany 1930s evolved?

  4. ONLY Trump can wake up the sheep here. And he’ll have to do it with a mega-klaxon foghorn along the lines of “I’m f$cking pissed with Canada, and the border is closed for 90 days”, and then let the elbowzos stew in it and wonder why the shelves are bare.

    1. ” and then let the elbowzos stew in it and wonder why the shelves are bare. ”

Yup. That’s about the only thing that will get their attention, isn’t it? First we run out of gasoline, then produce, then everything else.

  5. Robert, Mark Carney may be taking orders from higher-ups, but it is more likely that he swims with elite Eurocrats who run what passes as the European economy. The economy is in a slow-growth stage, with little growth and a high population growth fed by unskilled immigrants.

Mr. Carney as a former governor of the Bank of Canada and the Bank of England is highly overrated. Graduate school economics says that Canada, as a small open economy, has interest rates that closely track movements in U.S. rates. The same holds true with Britain following Europe’s lead. Every six weeks the Bank of Canada holds a news conference stating how the Bank is going to set its bank rate, as if the Bank setting is independent of the U.S. Fed interest rate setting. A fawning Canadia media report on the Bank’s news conference as if it’s important, then for the next six weeks never mention Canadian interest rate movements. Only U.S. rates are reported.

So Mark Carney has parlayed his times as central bank governor as something important. All he has going for him are Eurocrat snobbery and a compliant paid-for media.
