    The only possible thing that is going to focus government on the actual running of the country would be a majority goverment, we need on soon, and I sure hope it’s a conservative one (and I hope Stephen remembers that stuff he used to believed in)

A group – “The Bloq” – in Ottawa with the total objective being to break up Canada and getting paid by us to do it. Maybe there should be an investigation in why this has happened over the years.

    It was politically a smart move to vote in favour of the motion then still keep pretty quiet and let the Dippers, Libs, & Bloc do their thing and look the fools.

  25. So who is the non canadian hockey player who actually made said remark. As for the affidavit signed by the lineman, and Codere has a copy, can we believe that. Does the affidavit just state the remark was make or does it name Doan. Ony in canada can the innocent be proved guilty. I thought the libs believed in the geneva convention, innocent until proved guilty. I heard Iggy make that stmt in the HofC.

  32. We send 308 MPs to Ottawa. It should now be obvious to most, that’s about 200 MP’s too many.
    The Liberals knew that Ottawa was running out of things to do , which is why they wanted to keep piling more responsibilities into Ottawa ,
    like Day Care .. can you imagine? .. .these guys looking after our kids?
    Conservatives want to decentralize. Health Care and other items need to be devolved back to the Provinces for accountability. But the left and pundits like Andrew Coyne and Jeffrey Simpson are fighting us on that notion, they are old fashioned centrists, elitists, control fanatics.
    Maybe now Canadians will start to understand that we need to shrink government and have government accountabilities as close to home as possible. Ottawa is another planet.

Nine of them were invited and only one decided to go. I guess he should automatically be appointed the captain, then.
    That is the way things work in the federal government, but it isn’t how we pick our hockey teams. When is someone going to stand up to Quebec and tell them to shut up? Grrr!!

These three silly self-important twits are striving for their 15 minutes of fame and the media is supplying it in spades. Why don’t they just ignore the silly fools? Why is this a major news item? Hockey Canada should just tell them to take a flying leap off a rolling puck.

I was just on the list of members of parliment collecting e-mail addresses so I could express my opinion about the “Doan affair” that is occupying the brilliant minds that the Canadian sheeple send to Ottawa, and noticed that all the Liberals are listed as “Hon” while most of the members of other parties are not.     since jack Layton embraced having a Convicted felon ( Svend Robinson) run for the NDP in a Federal Election even after Svend refused to prove he was under stress and taking medication they he also refused to name.
    The we had the Liberal taking both sides of the issue like the Afghan war-crimes allegations , she insists it is because she cares about Team-canada that she wants to prove Shane Doan is guilty to settle this for once and all, much like Dion and layton wanting to prove our troops are war-Criminals because they truely Support the troops.
    Anybody notice the link to spousal abuse where females in shelters repeat the same story that the Physically abusive husband claimed it was because he cared that he had to pound the crap out of her to stop picking on him as abusive.
    Stats canada show that Qeubec has the highest per-capita rate of spousal abuse and the record high abuse among Catholics , but will the CBC and CTV every tell you that, NO, it’s easier to take a Muslim like Gamil Gharbi who used Sharia law and the Quran to murder almost 20 female students in Montreal which the Feninazis used to blame all males and force Libreals to waste $2 billion on a failed Long-gun registry.
    The 2 major rampages by misogynitist was in Quebec , so is it any surprise that Quebec males will blame the victim and feel offended by a allegation unproven and resort to verbal abuse as lawyers do in Court when they blame the rape victim for creating their client who is a rapist.
    What kid would now look at being on Team canada when your life can be ruined by smears from a Province that banned English signs but cries racism over a word that offended them . and to add to that they get a salary as a MP to support bigotry in Quebec and promote seperation with Tax dollars.
    The quota system for french-only players will backfire because the next question will be to demand the opposing Teams speak French or canada will boycott the games.
    But at the way Quebec is changing I think Sharia law and Terrorism will solve the Hockey debate once CAIR and the Islamists make it an Islamic caliphate with Imam’s elected to oversee the executions in staduims.
