  1. A $1.5 Trillion Military Budget is a Gift to the Grifters

Last week “Secretary of War” Pete Hegseth insulted Americans by claiming that a 50 percent increase in the US military budget – from an incomprehensible one trillion dollars to an impossible one and a half trillion – was a “fiscally responsible investment.”

“Thanks to President Trump’s $1.5 trillion defense budget, this War Department has moved from bureaucracy to business,” he said last Thursday.

    1. Yes, Iran can already reach out and touch Iran with ICBMs and disabling their nuclear warhead manufacturing capability was nothing.

    2. Not thrilled with this number, but Republicans always have to spike defense spending when they are in office to compensate for the inevitable slash in defense spending or the funding of woke nonsense when a democrat take up residence in the White House.

    1. She’s got a bit of it right. “God invented whiskey to keep the Irish from conquering the world.”

    2. Thank you for posting this, I enjoyed reading it very much. I am of Scots/Irish heritage, on the paternal side, there is a long line of master builders and engineers. On the maternal side, there is a couple of generations of entrepreneurs. I truly believe that the pendulum is swinging back towards conservatism before it will settle into the middle again. And yes, governments have to get their spending under control. Don’t spend money you do not have!

  2. Colorado governor commutes Tina Peter’s prison sentence for attempting to comply with Colorado state election laws. Democrats will never admit that Peters was attempting to preserve election records in compliance with state law, which put her in conflict with the current secretary of state Jenna Griswold who (illegally) had all state election records over-written. Griswold belongs in jail.

  3. New York Times admits that climate scientists have ditched the scariest of the global warming scenarios they have been peddling for years. The most extreme of these, called RCP8.5, was dishonestly touted as a credible outcome for decades, even though scientists knew better.

NYT claims that backing off the alamist fringe is due to advances in renewables and other programs. This is not true.

The main factor driving the RCP8.5 scenario is global coal consumption, which has peaked and is predicted to decline further. To reach the emission levels predicted by RCP8.5 coal consumption would have to increase sevenfold! The scenario was bogus from the gitgo but has been used by Governments to ‘justify’ costly programs.

The Canadian government’s current policies rely on this discredited scam. Fearing the left wing press, Conservatives have been too cowardly to address the issue.

None of ‘em can get loads out of Ohio today. And I was talking to the Iman guy while I was in there at the Punjabi place getting something to eat, and he said that the reason they they can’t get freight out of Ohio today is because the freight workers won’t work with them anymore.
Apparently, what has happened, is yesterday they had the Supreme Court ruling that brokers could be held liable for accidents with carriers with red flags. Apparently, the trickle trickle-down effect happened like THAT

  5. L – This weekend’s Shaun Newman podcast on Rumble has a mix of serious e.i. Alberta judge interference in a their petition, a legislative process. Therefore arguably in violation of separation of powers. Secondly, the news highlighting stories on how ridiculous and quickly, Canadian city streets and highways changed into a 3rd world level of mayhem and sometimes blood. Entertainment for a cold climate change weekend!
