CTV- Frustrations rise over human waste on Vancouver streets, prompting return of ‘poop fairy’ program
In 2021, the City of Vancouver introduced its Feces Removal Response Program to address the fouling minefields, with patrols and collections carried out on weekdays across Chinatown, Downtown, Strathcona, Gastown, and Hastings Crossing.
A spokesperson from the city says the program had seen 1,870 removals in the first two months of this year alone. In 2024, 327 calls regarding human waste were made, an average of six calls per week.

You know what’s crazy? Apparently, downtown Toronto and the surrounding area has a similar problem at present.
Indian population:

Vancouver- 300,000
Now, if you think I’m being prejudice with this association, keep in mind that outdoor pooping is the norm in India. Over 60% of India does not enjoy indoor plumbing. In 2019, after decades of work, India scored a major developmental victory by providing 600 million people with access to toilets. But while the toilets were built, they are not all being used. According to a 2022 report from the WHO and UNICEF, 17% of rural Indians still practice open defecation.

cities where quite concerned about the presence of stool pigeons.

10% of Canadians are now living in poverty courtesy of Federal and Provincial economic (green) policies. Wait until the poverty rate reaches 20 and 25%. No doubt socialist adherants will want to address citizen economic inequality. That will surely improve things.

Come to Vancouver and take a stroll down Hastings street and witness the culture the Government enables… maybe stay for some Government supplied drugs… stay for the lovely and overwhelming smells of human feces and urine…. ahhh… spring is in the air.
Have a walk in historic Gastown where the stench of human feces and urine will make you long for return.
BC is a war zone and an open sewer. Citizens here love to vote for the NDP and will continue to do so.
