2. Delaware apparently just passed some new law to try and make it enticing for the corporations to stay.

   1. Well, I suppose that’s better than the Governor of NY going on TV and stating, “Don’t worry, we won’t get creative with property appraisals for loans on you. That was just a Trump thing.”

   2. The laws are fine as they are. The judges just break them. Changing the laws is like shitting your pants and changing your shirt.

3. Who wants to operate their business under the rules of “Democratic Socialism”?
   Answer: fewer and fewer … eventually NONE

   1. You mean ‘Democratic’ in the sense of German ‘Democratic’ Republic?
      When they attach any deviation from democracy, it becomes undemocratic and goes down hill from there.

      Anyway, when it comes to money, it seems even the rich socialist aristocrats take a notice.
      They like their money, nothing wrong with that, just that they wanna tell the other people to pay taxes and shut up.

5. there is a theory a nuclear sub USS Scorpion in the Atlantic right in the middle of the worst of the cold war, was sunk by its own torpedo.
   it actually really does happen. whey they dont come with some sort of ‘beep’ sensor identifying the FRIENDLY sub is puzzling.

6. The Delaware economy depends in large part on these corporations. They chose Delaware in the past because the Chancery court system worked.

   It only took one judge with an axe to grind with Elon Musk to bring that crashing down, to the benefit of Wyoming and Nevada and Texas.

   1. judges are weird and exceptionally short sighted. some of the very worst are those who put witnesses thru the meat grinder forcing investigative journalists to expose their confidential sources.
      it works or it doesnt, only that one time. then for years afterward the anonymous whistleblowers clam up for obvious reasons. are ya happy now judgey judge?
