    1. Where the hell did that fat black slob get the idea to crawl across a fruit aisle display? Where? That level of stupid should in a mental hospital.

    1. We also have oil and gas that the US is too stupid to use, but then, Canada is too stupid to use our own oil and gas.

      1. I was reading this am that there is not enough copper to produce all those world changing wonderful non CO2 emitting EVs. Of course without our coal, oil and gas the copper could not be mined or turned into wire .

  1. It’s probably nothing, but Fitch has just downgraded TD Bank to “underperform”:

Btw, TD Bank has been known to be a retirement home for Liberal politicians. Former NB Premier Frank McKenna is a vice president there. Then Deputy Minister of Finance Ed Clark — after he was through eestroying our oil and gas industry by designing Trudeau’s National Energy Policy in 1981 — became the CEO at Toronto Dominion. TD maintains a woke progressive set of policies today.

    1. I thought that was Scotiabank — aren’t they the ones who funded the pipeline (making huge profits in the process) and taking in Liberal loyalists like Scott Brison when he was in need of a job. In truth the Liberals are likely cozy with more than one bank.

    1. My beautiful sister/best friend died suddenly on March 15. My daughter and son-in-law live in Montreal. My daughter asked me to consider moving closer to them and I agreed. So next year, after all of the estate business is done, I will be moving to the “belly of the beast” – Ottawa. It is 2 hours from Montreal on Via Rail. My daughter said to NOT move to Quebec as it has a “less than special” healthcare system. I have some relatives in Ottawa, and lived there for 2 summers in the early 70’s. I have loved living in Regina (except for the frigging cold Januaries), but to be closer to family, I must move to eastern Ontario.
I realize that this sounds morbid, but I hope to only live for another 8-10 years. The world seems to be mirroring the 1930’s, and there is going to be a terrific re-adjustment coming which will not be pleasant for most people.

      1. Just a comment from your post,
The world seems to be mirroring the late 1920’s, rather than the “30’s” (in my view)
Comparable pain of the 1930’s has yet to even start,,, if there’s a repeat of the 1920’s-1930’s period, then it will get much worse, much, much worse.
Sorry to hear of you leave SK, but I do understand the pull of family, and the need/desire to be closer to each other. (I guess that’s not true for everyone, but for those of us who love family, I completely understand).
Ya, I’m on the back 9 too, and now view my age as more of a countdown of years left, rather than an ever increasing number going up.

Where ever you move, you’ll still be able to read/post here !

No wonder Princess Pushy is so proud of her Nigerian heritage. A chip off the stolen block.

  3. It is common in Ontario, and the bureaucrats and politicians all seem to support this sort of thing, except I am not aware of any Bulgarians being involved here.

How a single Bulgarian city was at the heart of Britain’s biggest benefits scam: Fraud was exposed by detective in quiet Balkan enclave who saw crooks ‘living like barons’ and locals who had never travelled to the UK receiving up to £2,500 a month
