    3. They only receive 10-15% of the money the Cuban government receives. The rest is confiscated.

    4. Their families remain in Cuba, hostages of the State.

    5. Abandonment of duties is punished with eight years of imprisonment.

    6. If the offender does not return, they are declared a “deserter” and are prohibited from entering Cuba for eight years.

    7. They face the worst punishment: not seeing their children grow up.

    If you vacation in Cuba, you are complicit in this 21st century slavery.

  4. I’m retiring to MS … Booker-T takes us to Spain’s market where you can get what looked like 4 NY Steaks for $7.00 !!?? Is this in the SAME country as I live in!? That’s $75.00 (min.) where I live … at COSTCO no less. Even MORE at Safeway.

    1. Ground beef or pork is about €3/lb in the algarve region of Portugal.
      A 50-50 mix is great for burgers, meatballs.

    Article says dead, starved North Korean fishermen are washing up on Japanese and South Korean shores. Article describes the abusive China fishing fleet.

    The Outlaw Ocean Project is an interesting environmental group. Yes, it also targets abuse from Western nations, and it targets mostly young people, but it saves most of its criticism for China. The Globe and Mail published one or two pieces on China’s evil fishing. But in general the establishment media cartel has ignored this menace.

Letitia James, Solicitor General for the state of New York, targets a meat company for fraud, claiming that they are not fulfilling their CO2 commitments because they are processing too much meat, and therefore increasing methane and CO2. This case is being filed after Governor Hochul promised they would no longer target companies because of the fallout from the Trump prosecution.
