    Every Canadian should be required to do two years of national service directly after graduation from public school, no exceptions. Military would be one option, other options would include RCMP, CSIS, EMR/SAR, Hospitals, Prisons, Govt Research Stations, etc. Just about every branch of the govt could offer options. The pay would be the same in all cases and uniforms, room and board would be provided.

    if you have the money to by a bag of marijuana, then you have the money to buy groceries for yourself and your family….tax-payers, who are keeping welfare afloat, are often times required to take a drug test to qualify for a job… if a person needs to be drug tested to generate the money that pays for the welfare benefits, why wouldn’t we require welfare recipients to be drug tested to receive the benefits?

  10. A local kid tried for the Navy. Jumped thru all the hoops, got lead on for 6 months. A recent HS grad, eager, fit, no piercings, tattoos, just looking for something meaningful to do.
    Nada.

  13. Who’s it going to be, Rachel or Justin, that honors Canada’s 150th birthday this year by announcing April 1st that out of respect for the environment all drive thrus will have to shut down. Terrible pollution don’t you know, and we have to smugly show the world that we mean business. April fools or not. Rachel and Justin are not to be trusted on either the environmental or economic file.

  16. Barak Obama may very well have had a Kenyan birth certificate but I really doubt he was ever in Kenya as an infant.
    Obama was likely conceived when his mother was 17, likely not statutory rape at the time. Obama’s father married his mother on February 4, 1961 despite the fact that he was already married. The marriage was illegal and Obama truly was a bastard. I suspect Obama’s parents never lived together and probably rarely saw each other. Obama was born August 4, 1961 and his mother went to school in Washington State in September 1961 while his father remained in Hawaii.
    Being 1961, I suspect Obama’s mid-west grandparents crapped their pants when they found out their daughter was knocked up by a black man 6 years her senior. I suspect they demanded a shot-gun wedding and that the African otherwise make himself scarce. Only in Obama’s dreams was there any kind of a relation ship beyond “wham-bam thank you ma’am.” Was Obama’s ever mom in Kenya? Fat chance, I suspect.

    Those entering Canada illegally are using a loophole in the law which normally prevents illegal immigrants from crossing the border. Under the Safe Third Country Agreement between Canada and the U.S., refugee claimants can only apply for asylum in one country. But those who cross the border illegally are not turned away once they’re on Canadian soil. Instead, they’re intercepted by police, arrested and held for processing.
    CBSA screens all applicants, including criminal record searches, and determines whether the asylum seeker is eligible to apply for refugee status. If they’re not, they’re detained and usually deported.

  25. My theory is that Frank Marshall Davis is his father. That would be one reason for hiding the birth certificate. The other records are also hidden (school, selective service, etc.) because he got entry to US universities as a foreign student. The stolen passports are another problem. John Brennan helped with that. Regardless, this is a man without documentation to validate his identity. It may be too late to challenge him on this – too many people do not want to know.
