I have seen war with Iran as an eventual certainty for a long time. To me, the only choice we have is whether we are prepared when it starts, or surprised.This Flynn guy seems entirely rational in that respect. I write software, so I don’t know the upside of preemptive vs. not.

I think what he is saying is Islam doesn’t have the brains or the brawn to overrun Western society, but in a war of Ideology, the Western world is totally weak and unfocused, thus we are very easy to undermine. This is why I don’t get terrorism, all Islam has to do is fake niceness and eventually they will overrun our countries with their population growth. Terrorism only creates a backlash and the West might actually wake up, but like a said early we aren’t dealing with smart people only focused people.
