  10. I’ve looked at the BBC in the past couple of days for their mention of this report. it seems they haven’t gotten ahold of it yet in order to decide if it’s newsworthy or not.
    My expectations are near zero.
    I did see mention on X/Twitter of someone being interviewed regarding this, and the interviewer told the interviewee to not mention the countries or religion named in this report, and then the interviewer just continued on and completely disregarded that, and rightfully so.

    I don’t understand how the Gov’t of the UK can ignore this report, though it’s brought up daily on X while the gov’t blames those mentioning it. When the MP’s in the UK talk about tax or the environment and the citizens ONLY responded to ALL their statements on these issues with calls to “do something instead of nothing” in light of this report, perhaps the citizens so violated by this would see a result.
    The current Labour Gov’t doesn’t have to call an election for at least another 2 years.
    I can’t make sense of this, I suspect if this were in Canada, the #Libranos would act the same as the UK Labour Party and my expectation of something good coming about from this, is zero. It’s not possible for me to think less of the UK Labour Gov’t, or Canada’s #Libranos and NDP.
    I think there’s a direct connection between this sort of news item, and the UK Gov’t and the Canadian #Libranos Gov’t wanting to control what people say on social media accounts, and that is not a good thing for anyone stuck living in these two countries. It’s one thing for the gov’t to not do anything about a specific problem, quite another for them to legislate against you being able to complain about it.

  13. An evil thing done to these poor girls. I pray severe and dire justice comes for ALL those involved. Perhaps the British men could do a few things too. Stop knocking up your local gals and then abandoning them and their children in favor of some selfish gangster-loving thug-childish life. A lot, not all, of these girls are from single mothers, of wards of the state. That means no proper father figures in their lives. That is on you, British men. Shape up. And take care of business properly. Getting drunk in the pub and then going into the streets to be angry and break things is not going to help your girls in the long run.   15. I think the abused girls and their family, especially any children they have will be seriously affected, probably for generations. Some UK judge needs to study the Gladue decision in Canada regarding, specifically, how certain indigenous lawbreakers are now always given special treatment, seemingly forever, when it comes to imposing sentencing on them. They should get a “Gladue Principle get out of jail free card” for any legal trouble they or their children might have for, say, the next 4 or 5 generations. Not to mention a bit fat financial settlement or two.
