   This act of recording a public meeting isn’t against the House rules, so Zahid was lying. She may have been told those are rules, but she didn’t say “this is what I’ve been told” and who exactly is responsible for what Zahid has been told? … she said, “she had been enforcing…” and as those are NOT the rules it’s clear that she’d made this up. What we call outside the House, “a lie” …
   No, I don’t care if she “thought she was right” or “thought those are are the rules” … the fact is what she’d said isn’t true and it isn’t for anyone else to take responsibility for what she’s thought the rules may be.

   I think the correct response from Sanci to Zahid while being told to stop recording is to reply, “no” and to NOT explain what she knows to be the rules to the MP, it isn’t Sanci’s job to educate the low IQ MP’s from distant lands, and note that complete non compliance to directions which are outside her jurisdiction are the way forward.
   Just keep repeating “no” until security arrives.

   I’m a great believer in, “no” … there’s really nothing quite like it when directed at those who feel they are in the right in their head, but demonstrably wrong. When security asks “and how did you respond?” tell them plainly I said NO in my best calm level headed voice”
   and leave it there to figure out what “no” meant.
   eventually, someone will explain to Zahid what “no” means.

   When asked to “well then you tell me the rules”
   The correct response is “no”

   1. It may become a matter of normally addressing the hideous from “over there”, by which I ask politely (of course) for their pronouns and include “because really I can’t be certain at this moment”.
      It isn’t going to matter how they correct me, I’m going to call it a win.
