Decades ago we took the kids of Cuba because it was cheaper and our kids were of the age where we didn’t have to pay adult costs for them. The place was nice enough in terms of weather, etc., but the hotel was not great and had damage from a hurricane many years earlier. The power was ALWAYS going off through the day. It has always been a backwater under good old Fidel. Cuba could be an absolute gangbuster of a place, but you gotta get those Marxists the hell out of there.
