On February 2, 2026, an SFU professor went missing. A man and a woman have now been charged with his murder:

First-degree murder charges have been laid against two people in connection to the death of Masood Masjoody, a former SFU instructor and outspoken critic of the Iranian regime.

The charges were laid against 48-year-old Maple Ridge man Mehdi Ahmadzadeh Razavi and 45-year-old North Vancouver woman Arezou Soltani on Saturday morning.

The pair is accused of killing Masjoody, 45, who was reported missing on Feb. 2.

Burnaby RCMP launched an investigation after “receiving reports from concerned neighbours,” and soon determined that Masjoody’s disappearance was out of character and involved criminality, according to a news release from the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team Saturday.

Just another terrible murder to the casual reader. But Mahyar Tousi, a well known Iranian ex-pat and podcaster in Britain, is reporting that Masood Masjoody was assassinated. Watch and decide.

  5. You might find it interesting that there is a photo out there of both murder suspects grinning wide in a photograph with Pierre Poilievre (who is, also, smiling wide).

    My understanding is that the victim and the suspects had an ongoing vandetta (mostly for political reasons) that included pending court cases.

  6. Canada is letting IRGC members in because the IRGC is a creature of MI6, the intelligence arm of the City of London, and Marl Carney is owned by the same City of London. If anyone thinks I am talking about the Capital of the UK, do some research. The Muslim brotherhood, created c. 1922 by MI6 while doing the Suez canal are a similar bastard child of MI6.

    1. The MidEast Wars have brought plenty of muslim”asylum” seekers into the US. Terror cells are likely located in every major city and in every state. Terrorists recruited, welcomed and sponsored by NGOs with my tax money. Most ate unvetted due to givernment backlogs. After all, is the progressive humanitarian thing to do to open the borders.
