With respect to MAID, I can understand the bureaucratic fascination with it, it is the only special service without a ludicrous wait time which will then eventually happen in a third world hellhole ,er hospital, delivered by some clown who lacks the talent to work in a better system in almost any country in the world. MAID helps with the stats so some idiots and Health Canada and various Provincial health departments qualify for their “bonus.”

2. As a white woman who will soon have done 74 journeys around the sun, I have very little respect for any police officer. As to MAID, I have no illusions that my daughter will sign me up when she has no more use for me (I learned 3 years ago that I am just a dollar sign to her).
