  1. What are you talking about?! The health and well being of ‘select’ Canadian sex tourists is first and foremost on the government’s mind.. sheesh.. cut them some slack.. If Jalisco thugs harm so much as one hair on their precious little heads, they’ll reap Canada’s wrath, with a $750k fine! (~$20 bucks, US)

  2. Of course there isn’t much help from the Canadian Government, they are a bloated leviathan that exist to feed off the taxpayers like the subhuman parasitic filth they are, not actually do anything.

I’m a dual, if I find myself in a situation like that, the only consulate I’m calling is the US, they still care for their citizens like real countries do.

  3. Tim Pool:
    “▪️THE SUPPLIER IS DEAD.
    THE CLIENT LIST SURVIVED.
When Mexican Special Forces took out El Mencho, they didn’t just find guns and drugs. They found a laptop.
On it: a single encrypted file named “CLIENTES.”
Inside: 211 names. The elite clients who ordered children and organs from “The Supplier.”
Hollywood actors. Tech billionaires. Wall Street executives. And 17 sitting members of Congress.
For 48 hours, the Deep State tried to bury it. The CIA tried to claim jurisdiction. The FBI tried to seize the laptop.
    They failed.
Trump’s people got to it first. The file is now in the hands of the same military intelligence unit that is preparing for the State of the Union address.
    This is the kill shot.
The Epstein files were the blackmail network. The Client List is the customer base.
Arrests are not coming. They have already begun.
Pay attention to who disappears this week.
    This is not politics.
    This is war.
And the snakes can’t hide anymore.”

    1. I notice the cartels are burning down banks.

*and in fairness to the Mexican government, they sort of have their hands full; although they rather pig headedly have turned down the U.S. government’s offer of help a few months ago: “Mexico’s sovereignty is non-negotiable!”…Codos arriba! No esta en venta!
      The irony is delicious.

  4. I don’t give a shit about canadians being stranded…are there any Albertans we need to worry about?

  5. Our friend is stranded, but has secured another week where she was staying and a flight out next week.

Coincidentally, a full 1/3 of the people hunkering down in her building are French only speaking Quebecois. No doubt, those who skipped out on Cuba and are the elbows-up against Florida crowd.

  6. I’m old enough to remember when it was a high crime when the PM couldn’t get Canadians out of a war zone in Lebanon.
    Oh wait.
That was Harper, so different standard applies
    My bad

      1. What about the DIRECT relevance of the comment … the comparison? Oh yeah, you’ve gone for the sloganeering instead. Got it.

    1. And, back then those “stranded” people were Canadians of Convenience. They were permanently living in Lebanon. But, yes, the Lieberals are in charge now so the bought-and-paid-for legacy media couldn’t care less about stranded Canadians.

  7. If you’re looking for help from the Mexican government then you’ve never been to Mexico before. Or perhaps…

  8. When I worked overseas we were told that if the shit hit the fan to “Head for the US embassy, forget about the Canadian one.”

  9. Was in Kenya 1982 at time of air force attempted coup. Chaos downtown Nairobi especially near radio station- finally reached hotel on outskirts. Learned that no information or help would be forthcoming from Canadian High Commission, closed due to danger. But representatives from both British High Commission and US embassy visited hotel to offer Canadian and other guests updated info on situation and estimate of when airport might reopen.
