  1. Not a tip but an observation…
    I’ve seen a flood of recent commentary deriding the Alberta sovereignty movement from the usual suspects in the Canadian commentariat. It brings to mind the phrase “When you’re taking flak, you’re right over the target”. I suspect there is some unpublished internal polling data that is leaning in an undesirable direction for a particular constituency.
    It would appear the “bat signal” has gone up (from where you can easily guess). Prompting a more serious response than the usual casual disdain.

    1. Yes…. there’s been a noticeable uptick in opposition to this, largely from people outside of Alberta who will not be voting in this autumn’s referendum.

      There is an addition to the Stay Free Alberta website, it’s now listing the various sites and dates within Alberta where one can sign the petition, and see the actual wording of the petition. There may be other sites and dates added, as well as basic requirements for those who need or want to know what’s required, like having photo ID with your correct Alberta home address (not a box number) …

    Women will no doubt find a way to manage as, they have in the past. Or they could go fight too.

    2. You do realize that there are some (women) who have (fought)…and a lot of this gender battle haranguing (both sides) gets a bit tiresome.

      “Sending the boys out to die!” is now some big new thing for the right wing…darlings, darlings….you and the left ALREADY sent ‘the boys out to die’! I saw it happen! I got to go to the funerals and deal with all the PTSD. For an entire generation (2 1/2 really — since Reagan, remember Beirut? remember how many died in Operation Eagle Claw? Mogadishu? Phantom Fury? Abby Gate?).

      1. I always laugh when I read that things are so bad (in a war) that they are raping and killing women. Forget about all the men who were killed in combat, I’m thinking about the women who are raped and killed by immigrants or their husbands or boyfriends – you know the ones nobody cares about?

        1. To be perfectly blunt, the worst of it was having to deal with the natives raping and killing children…but we must respect other cultures after all, mustn’t we? That’s all part and parcel of our ‘international rules based order’ isn’t it?
          I’m just laughing, bitterly of course, at the “our country is being hollowed out!” (already happened) and “we’re sending our boys off to die!” (already happened)….it’s already happened; the sooner heads are wrapped around that, the better off we’ll all be. The ‘West’ has already fallen; my country is making an attempt at a counter revolution. Likely be good to deal with it proactively and productively, there is no crying in baseball, but that’s just me.
          But complaining is falling on my deaf ears, and I like po’ing people, so…

          1. This culture respect stuff is bull-shit. How can you respect people who are committing most of the crime? There is a reason they are over-represented in the jails. Oh well. Can’t go there.

            In a perfect world women and children are cherished. Trump closing the border and deporting illegals is a good start. Kicking out Maduro and overseeing a regime change in Iran are others. I’m amazed at the countries that will jump to embrace the bad people (like Canada to Hamas) in order to oppose Trump.

          2. It’s a start. There is every chance it may fail — there are many enemies, foreign and domestic. One of the ways in which it will is people falling for asymmetric warfare psyop campaigns — one of them is to keep people divided and at each other’s throats (this has been accomplished); another is to get people believing that everything is hopeless and there is no hope (this is being worked on and has been successful).

            The world isn’t perfect, and women and children are only cherished by their families and/or communities (and many times not even then). Same goes for young men. We are all (men, women, children) integral parts of our civilization, and our civilization (the remnants left) is worth fighting for — so people need to stop being psyop’d into complaining about the lack of perfection within specific points of our civilization and turn around and face what’s destroying what’s left of our civilization.

    1. All teachers of obtuse mathematics beyond arithmetic need to give real world examples of concepts like:
      Determining latitude with Sine laws
      Or slopes, etc
      Compounding interest for money savings, debt accumulation
      Calculus dx/dt et al
      Get theatre arts to perform Shakespeare in an English class read along.
      History – canada in WW2, National Park significance, L’anse Meadows, Ft Louisville, et al.

    Apparently Bill Gates caught “the clap” or something from one of Epstein’s trafficking victims, gave it to his wife Melinda Gates and then tried to secretly drug her to clean her up before she noticed that she too had “the clap”.
    So now when I think of Bill Gates or Melinda Gates or the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation I just think of “the clap” and all that puss coming from their organs. Yeah, really can’t avoid it.
