    1. I agree with the lawsuits, but unfortunately the bastards who end up paying are you and me!

  1. Well, there’s still the Supreme Court to confer absolution on them. But goodness. It does look like Carney’s party, or at least a powerful part of it, intends to hang Turdo and company out to dry. If the Federal Court of Appeal is saying it, then important Liberals are thinking it.

      1. If important Liberals are thinking it, the Supreme Court is agreeing with it. The question is, who is thinking it and how hard?

    1. Keith Wilson’s opinion was that there had to something egregious in the decisions, an obvious contestable error in law for the SC to agree. In his opinion, there is nothing there, the Appeals Court was pretty basic and direct in their 3-0 decision to uphold the original decision.
      A very good day.
Remember, Carney was the architect of this, calling the Convoy SEDITIOUS in the Feb 9.2022 Globe and Mail.

  2. Involved an emergency alright….
Constitutional rights and freedoms were infringed upon.
Maybe DoJ should lose 2% of their budget for each case they lose.

    1. Yes and despite all lower courts agreeing, the SCOC is an arm of the Lieberal Party. See Delwyn Vrend v. Alberta. The all powerful SCOC re-wrote the Charter in that case.

  3. And the consequences are?

About the same as Hillary and Bill Clinton defying a subpoena.

    Nada, zilch.

  4. It all doesn’t mean sh*t.

Without real world consequences, all the “well, that was wrong” is wasted air. No risk to the offenders, many years down the road to be told they overstepped, not even an actual slap on the wrist.

Next time the government does this, and they will, it might get called out sooner and still be a no-risk for the offender.

    Kabuki Theater.

  5. I predict the feds will appeal and it will be another two or three years before we hear anything more.

      1. If they don’t hear it, the condemnation stands. If the condemnation is to stand, they want be on record joining in it with the appropriate enthusiasm. Of course they’ll hear it.

  6. Here’s the list of people directly involved in illegally invoking the Emergencies Act (according to AI):

Justin Trudeau (Prime Minister and MP for Papineau): As head of government, he made the final call to invoke the Act and has repeatedly stated it was necessary to address the national security threats posed by the protests.

Chrystia Freeland (Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and MP for University—Rosedale): She played a central role in the financial aspects, including measures to freeze bank accounts and disrupt funding for the protests.

Marco Mendicino (Minister of Public Safety and MP for Eglinton—Lawrence): He was heavily involved in coordinating the law enforcement response and supported the declaration, emphasizing threats to public safety.

Bill Blair (President of the Queen’s Privy Council and Minister of Emergency Preparedness, MP for Scarborough Southwest): He contributed to the emergency preparedness planning and consultations leading up to the invocation.

David Lametti (Minister of Justice and Attorney General, MP for LaSalle—Émard—Verdun): He provided legal advice on the thresholds for invocation and helped outline the measures under the Act.

Other ministers, such as Dominic LeBlanc (Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs at the time), participated….

At the very least, all of the above who are still employed by the government of Canada should be fired and have their pensions confiscated.

  7. When my husband was bullied by the liberals to get the clot shot, after I showed him the negative research, he got it, he suffered what looked to be second degree frost bite. I took pictures every step of the way. I want to sue every level of government for what they did. I’ll wait as long as I have to because so far every class action lawsuit seems to favor shutting down legal challenges, I don’t want money I want those tasdards in jail for life.

    1. I sympathize with you, but at the end of the day any compensation comes from the taxpayers. I would love to see some perp walks too!

  8. Until Turd Jr. is perp walked to prison my option of the gov of Canada remains. They are the biggest terrorist org in Canada

  9. All hail The State of Thuggery.
Of course the Feds will appeal, the delay should allow the most vicious of the Covinators enough time to retire..with full pension.
Meanwhile Canada is broken, trust no longer exists.
Carney and his minions will attempt to ram their “New World Order” down the throats of tax payers…with the Chicken Dancers cheering them on.
The only justice any Canadian will ever see,is the rough justice than future enraged mobs dispense.
The new Western Nation will embrace the death penalty,or “Banishment to Ottawa” for the worst criminals..
    And treasonous idiots.
I am amused and abused by the current concept of government making retroactive laws..
So they will be fine when we do the same?

  10. And so what? Will Trudeau be fined? Will he have his personal possessions taken? Will he go to jail? Will he be whipped? Will he be executed?

So if there will be no justice, why should we care?
