What’s really notable is where the losses are occurring:
The professional, scientific and technical services sector meanwhile shed 18,000 positions to end the year, and the accommodation and food services industry also faced losses.
Now do the real employment rate. And ask yourself when only a third of people in this country receive no money from government how we’ll vote our way out of this.
I’ve been saying this for years. Not everyone should be allowed to vote.

The construction industry increased, but my guess is that’s common as many projects are sped up to close before the holiday and New Year.

Maybe one of the reasons the unemployment rate rose is because “Canada” can’t help but keep mass migration flowing.
The construction industry is in for a world of hurt for the next year or so. My brother in law works for one of the big names, and they are seeing scary numbers re new builds and completions, both condos and single family.
