  5. My nephew graduated high school as an honours student in Ontario. He is now 36 years old. He started working at Superstore at age 16 in the deli department and because he is good with people was moved around as a trouble shooter. He now works for another grocery chain and is a happy man. He is smart, but when he graduated HS, he did not know what he wanted to do, so kept on working in retail groceries (we all need food!). He is good with money, has saved a lot and has no student debt. I think that this will become the norm in the next few years.

      Our corporate media are censoring this story, I think because Trump supports the Iranian dissidents and the media supports the Iran regime given DEI and other woke reasons. CTV news and the Globe and Mail have, incredibly, NO story at all on Iran’s unrest. CBC has on its main page a reprinted AP wire story, one that claims, falsely, that economic deprivation is the sole cause of the unrest. But at least the CBC covered the story. It is shameful when CBC news covers an event better than other national media. CBC news is supposed to represent rock bottom in journalism.
