    1. Just tell them that plastic bags are masks. No “mai” required.

Think of it as a touch of Chlorine in the gene pool.

  1. I kinda figured that some would develop a psychological dependence on masking when it became de rigeur in 2020. It plays into too many obsessions and paranoias over germs.

    1. You “kinda figured” that. Just like all the Pee reviewed papers you cite “kinda figure” all kinds of shit funded by pharma.
Oh, and what was your defense of 70 vaccines for little kids?

          1. Do you have a better word for someone who claims that little kids have to get 70 vaccinations? The total number (some shots, some oral) recommended by Health Canada for children six or under is around 15.

Either Stevie is making crap up, or he’s believing bad acters without checking for himself. Either way, he’s spraying around misinformation on a serious topic.

        1. Well, Marmot, I guess the CDC is the source of misinformation…. or they are bad actors?

How many vaccines does the CDC recommend for children today? Take a guess. By my count, if you combine vaccines currently given to children from 0 – 15 months with those given to children 18 months to 18 years (see the CDC Schedule, as of August 7, 2025), the number is over 70.

By the way, my wife says that I am not an idiot, and she is always right. Have a nice day.

          1. Canadian blog. You should have specified locale, because Western Canada tends to be the primary focus here.

          2. C Miner,
Fair point. I should have been more specific, which is why I added the source.
That said, and with due respect, I know this is a Canadian blog, being a western Canuck.
As for Western Canada being SDA’s primary focus, I would say that is arguable.
I am glad that it is a focus, but just look at the posts today about Epstein, Tulsi, etc, and consider this great site to be focused on a wider, informative context.
            Happy Solstice.

          3. OK, Marmot. You prevaricate and win. Feel better?
You saw that I didn’t make crap up, but feebly counter with my definition of little kids goes to 18.
These days, 18 year olds are still little kids. I live in a neighbourhood rife with such kids.
And you conceded but denied what the CDC said.
Yet, in the spirit of these Christmas days, I will not call you an obtuse idiot.
            Peace,

          4. You picked a fight. Now you’re feeling sorry for yourself.

Next time stay on topic and be respectful.

          5. The goof gets the last woof,
Respect is not calling someone an idiot. And I was on topic from a broader perspective.
I recall that respectful conversation is something you have insisted on.
And I didn’t “pick a fight,” I was merely engaging in conversation on opposing views, like you do.
            Merry Christmas.

          6. You “kinda figured” that. Just like all the Pee reviewed papers you cite “kinda figure” all kinds of shit funded by pharma.
Oh, and what was your defense of 70 vaccines for little kids?

You post crap like that, I’m going to respond in kind. Next time, be polite.

  2. The surgical team in the OR wear masks to protect the patient undergoing surgery. Masks do not protect the wearer, they protect others from any virus or germ laden exhalation the wearer may make. Certainly in the case of COVID, the virus cells are so small as to easily pass through the mesh of any reasonably obtainable mask. It’s like trying to use a picket fence to contain mosquitoes.

    1. Ginger WRONG, surgeons wear masks in case they hit a wrong artery, and get sprayed with blood, mask prevents blood from entering mouth or nostrils, also masks prevent saliva, skin cells, or other ‘debris’ from raining into the open wounds, and thusly protecting the surgeon and hospital from law suits

        1. That’s not work, that’s masturbatory ecstasy. I admit it’s hard to tell them apart, what with all the grunting.

    2. Ginger, from the Royal College of Surgeons on Neil Orr, Consultant Surgeon:
“He challenged the use of surgical masks in the operating theatre and published a controversial paper in the Annals, showing that over a six-month period when all operations in one theatre were performed without the surgeon wearing a mask there was no increase in infection (‘Is a mask necessary in the operating theatre?’ Ann R Coll Surg Eng. 1981 Nov;63[6]:390-2). This led to considerable debate and controversy, but time has shown that masks are not essential for most procedures.

  3. We have a very pricey, local, boutique grocery store here in town. I popped in the other day and was shocked to see every single one of their employees masked up. Why? Ohhhhhh yeahhhh … the MSM is banging on about a SUPERFLU roaring across our nation.

It sends the simple message … people are dangerous disease carrying parasites who can KILL you DEAD for breathing on you. Nevermind the efficacy of masks … at least people are TRYING not to die, Right?

    1. And there’s no way to convince them that an N-95 will not prevent a virus getting through even though the manufacturers say it won’t.

    1. “Waaay too long a story about a bunch of neurotics.”

Yes…and how many of these people who died took the ‘vaccine’ that they were convinced would protect them? Who says that the mRNA experiment didn’t kill them, and not Covid?

    1. I suspect that 97.6% of the mask wearers also believe white people should give the land back to the natives. Probably right up until they become homeless … living like a nomadic native … carrying their house with them in a shopping cart.

  4. I don’t see the downside to this. Easy marking of lunatics without effort. I get to make their blood pressure rise without effort by not wearing a mask. Alerts pedestrians and drivers to someone intellectually impaired thus requiring increased attention to avoid mishaps.

    1. “ Easy marking of lunatics without effort. “

EXACTLY. I prefer that these mental patients (99.998% liberals) identify themselves like this. This way I know to STEER CLEAR!

  5. Darwin awards should have this as a category.

Since nobody talks about the effects of long term mask wearing (limited oxygen, nasty fibers in the respiratory system, fungus growing in the mask) then I guess they are not problems.

    Darwin awards, indeed.

  6. A psych friend offers his idea – about a third of women these days suffer from some form of depression and/or self-esteem issues, and masking allows them to hide themselves while in public. Keeping that barrier between themselves and the world gives them a bit of security.

Personally, I like the masks because I can commit felonies out in public and get away.

  7. Psyop. Again.

Anyone else notice the flu is super-duper fatal again this year? They’re pushing it to see if they can stampede the Normies like they did in 2020/21.

If there are a few fruitbats out there masking full-time, I wish them luck with their increased CO2, increased breathing effort and decreased lung capacity. Yes, wearing a mask does come with unwanted and unhealthy side effects, particularly if you do it full-time long-term.
