US Department of Justice has released its first tranche of records: The Epstein Library.
I’m only partway into this 2025 interview with Ghislaine Maxwell, and it’s damned interesting. And not in the way you think. (pg 76)
I’m 150 pages into this, and… I have questions. This is worth the read, because it may very well blow apart everything you ever thought you knew about the Epstein case.
Pg. 164

Matt Taibbi, on connecting the dots.

Personally, I’ve felt there was no list for years now. The reason I’ve felt this way, is that we would have seen it by now, or parts of it. The fact that years upon years have passed, and no list has ever surfaced, despite the protestations of millions of people, makes it unlikely it ever existed. And why would someone like Epstein have a list? He had his friends, his parties, he did not need a list, other than the contacts on his phone. Why would he have a list? No reason.
No doubt Epstein was a horrible person, but at the same time, this never-ending obsession with a person who killed himself years ago, that is beyond bizarre and crazy.
It may also be mostly manufactured.
That is indeed possible.
I have long been of that thought.
I don’t understand how a manufactured outrage happened around Andrew. I am no fan of the man I find him flakey at best. But under UK law the age of consent is 16 if he did have sex with the Giuffre woman in London it was entirely legal unless it was non consensual. And TBH objectionable as it maybe due to his position he was hardly likely to be desperate for adoring fans thats just cold reality.
I just read the book on Andrew, “Entitled.”
The policemen who were security for him over the years all talked about him constantly being provided and meeting with women at all times of the day and night. Nowhere in the less than flattering book does anyone link him to underage girls. Might mean nothing.
Just saying.
Im still waiting for ACTUAl evidence of Epstein and his acquaintances raping underage girls. I want to know who these “victims” are … and how much they got paid. I want … how do you say it? … oh yeah … EVIDENCE and TESTIMONY … and CROSS EXAMINATION. I want the actual EVIDENCE of little innocent girls … probably still in their Girl Scout uniforms … getting diddled by nasty olllllld men.
OHHHHHHHHH MOMMMMMAAAAAA … but I can’t see any of that because we are “protecting” the underage girls who are all 40-something now. Sorry, but I got to witness the OJ trial on my tv EVERY DAY … and I heard the testimony … saw the evidence and heard the claims of someone using the n-word. And at the end of the… the Jury of my Family Room said OJ is bloody guilty as hell.
I’m still waiting. For the “files”. For the smoking gun (sorry). Happiness is a Warm Gun, mama (happiness, bang bang, shoot shoot).
Nope. I don’t buy much of it at all.
Pssst … Juries … like those who convicted Epstein in FL and Maxwell where? In NYC? … don’t always get it right … but are vessels of nullification and invention. I want to JUDGE the evidence … me …not take the word of some secret trial and secret jury or Judge.
Kenji, get something through your head. Your wanting, nay demanding, the names of the victims isn’t going to happen, at least not in the foreseeable future, because of court and DOJ decisions.
“The U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) has confirmed that over 1,200 victims and their relatives were identified during a comprehensive review of Epstein-related materials, and all names and identifying information have been redacted to protect their privacy.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that redactions were applied strictly in accordance with the law, and that the only information withheld was that which could identify victims or compromise ongoing investigations.”
Having said that, there’s this:
“A federal judge is pressing the Justice Department to explain how it will protect the identities of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims after lawyers said that dozens of their names appeared unredacted in documents released by Congress, prompting what they described as “widespread panic.”
From:
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/judge-epstein-victims-names-exposed-doj-estate-files-congress-rcna246210
… “wanting the names of the victims isn’t going to happen”
You’re supporting Kenji’s argument;
… when information is once again “morally” withheld from those who pay for it,
and the entire circus is once again “managed” by the zero-credibility press
whose desperate insistence on consensus of opinion will be their epitaph,
then the safe bet is to suspect the offended-sensibilities people shouting squirrel.
… like Barak O’Rama:
“As thousands of new documents tied to Epstein have been released, many of those closest to him have paid a steep price for their friendship by forfeiting influential jobs and weathering fierce public blowback. Yet Kathy Ruemmler, a former White House counsel for Barack Obama, has maintained a prestigious post as chief legal officer for Goldman Sachs.”
https://www.cnn.com/2025/12/11/politics/kfile-kathy-ruemmler-epstein-emails-epstein-files-invs-vis
I’m not supporting Kenji’s argument, far from it, I’m just explaining how things stand under the law.
You may like it or not, agree with it or not, be outraged or not, shout it from the rooftops, but those in control, namely Congress and the courts, don’t care what you or Kenji think or want regarding the matter.
Yet it appears … some … victims of underage diddling and ACTUAL kidnapping get no such mandatory Federal protection of their identity and privacy.

Curious.
And in this case, the victim was an active participant in her kidnapping and rape. As a result, her rapist/captor only got 7-10 years in jail … on lesser charges. So what makes the Epstein cases (all *cough* *cough* 1,200 of them) different? Because famous and powerful people were involved? Sorry … nothing about protecting every single “victim” in this case smells right to me.
C’mon Kenji, the victim in the Mirror story obviously came forward to tell her story, it says so right under the foto.
Only one Epstein girl has done so far, as far as I know; the rest presumably don’t want their identities revealed, and the law is on their side.
The other aspect of that case is that the girl was a known “missing” or “kidnapped” girl. She was already known to the public. So why aren’t any of the Epstein “girls” known to the public? Uh … because NONE of them were kidnapped, or held against their will. In fact, I suspect the Epstein “girls” moms were all excited that their sweet young daughters were getting close to powerful and rich people. I seem to recall Monica Lewinsky’s mom being excited that Bill Clinton *ahem* … took an interest in her daughter.
Nope. They just appear to be like the college girls who cry “Rape!” … after their boyfriend dumps them, or they start regretting their sluttiness. It’s not really rape, or trafficking … or rape.
The DOJ files don’t have a client list.
Another alphabet agency has the list and the videos.
He probably didn’t have a black book list of clients. He wasn’t some two-bit extortionist.
The people in his circle of clients wanted to be there. He knew his clients. He was providing what they wanted.
He was an awful person who associated with other awful people.
“He knew his clients.”
“Clients” suggests a business relationship. Has anyone ever suggested he had a business relationship? He had friends. He wasn’t a pimp, he was filthy rich.
I think he was a rich, perverted Mr. Roarke, running his version of Fantasy Island. He was friendly, and his friends probably financed him, but he basically had a social club. Friends, clients, associates? All the same thing in some circles.
From “Fantasy Island” TV show (1978-1984) description:
“At a luxurious but remote tropical island resort, the enigmatic Mr. Roarke somehow makes the secret dreams of his well-heeled guests come true, although twists of fate occasionally turn those dreams into nightmares.”
Seriously, I think he was running a Fantasy Island for the rich and powerful. He was very much a product of the 80’s. This whole thing is 80’s culture taken to the extremes.
Read her interview. She gave it under immunity, which evaporates if she’s found to be lying.
Very complicated. There’s way more to this than we know.
If Trump were clearly implicated, we would have known during the Biden administration. Why did they not release the info?
Epstein knew a lot of powerful people – some ‘clean,’ others not. Until we credbly hear from the victims with specific names, we’ll know very little.
Every photo released from “the files” which features “young women” have big black boxes over their faces. Why? Were they just innocent pawns in Epstein’s games? … Clinton’s games? … Bill Gates games? I want ID’s, ages, details. Why are the participating women being protected? Are women all innocent victims and powerful men the evil perpetrators? Do you even realize the ridiculous shit sandwich you’re being force fed? This is ridiculous.
“I want ID’s, ages, details.”
Poor Kenji, can’t take no for an answer (see my post above).
P.S. The girls’ faces are blacked out per the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
Blacked out for transparency? That’s heavy irony, dude…
They claim there are 42 girls (victims) who were forced to participate in Epstein Island. They could easily compile a list. But oddly, all they do is complain or even worse, say nothing.
I’m still not convinced that Epstein is dead. That awfully convenient picture of him on the gurney being wheeled into the ME van, with his face exposed (not covered with a sheet) like what is done with every other “corpse” was perhaps staged. I’m not certain of this of course, but I don’t trust anyone with the truth here. Sure, I could be wrong sitting here wearing my tinfoil hat, but I just find it all a little too convenient for lots of powerful people. After finding out a while back that the CIA was run by a communist (Brennan), I don’t trust a single word coming out of a rotten-to-the-core Washington DC anymore. I don’t think Trump is in on the scam, but perhaps he can only do so much, given the still powerful forces arrayed against him.
I’ve said it before: teenage prostitution is just not that uncommon.
Oh, they can wrap it up in “He promised to help me with my career” type stuff, but that doesn’t change the basic facts. Love that ‘survivor’ who was interviewed on Epstein and the ‘abuse’ she claims to have suffered OVER and OVER again while he introduced her to the right people. Nice try, sweetheart.
(that one was of legal age, too…)
