    1. Canadian delegation of every Liberal parliament member crosses into Israel. IDF shoots them all thinking they were Jew hating sympathizers.

Bibi apologizes and offers free all expenses paid trip to Israel for all NDR politicians. They all decline.

  1. I had to laugh hard on this one. The poor “Parliamentarians” were told NO. It was like “go home, you’re soiled”. And the CBC doesn’t get it.

  2. Supporting HAMAS and recognizing Palestine as a state has consequences. Blame Trump!

Maybe if their last names were Smith, Jones, Morrison, Macpherson etc they may have been allowed in. Good on Israel. They have balls.

    1. Precisely, “Liberal Party of Canada MP’s pose a threat to Israel’s and Canada’s public safety”

  3. Given that the Liberals and NDP all campaigned against climate change, why did they fly to Jordan?

Should have done a video call.

  4. AP clutched their pearls and blamed Trump when Israel did the same to…

Israel takes all threats seriously including loonies from Congress and Parliament

  5. I still think that Jenny Kwan will cross the floor in the new year, securing her tenure and giving the Libs a majority.

  6. I stopped watching at the third utterance of “Occupied West Bank”. Apparently they just aren’t allowed to say “West Bank” without obtrusively attaching the word “Occupied” to it.

    Laughably transparent in their bias.

  7. I think that lumping all Muslims in with the extremists is a very dangerous practice. In my experience the Muslims that I know are not extremists and not inclined to violence or advocating violence. Most who’ve integrated into Canada eat pork, drink beer, do not fast, and generally are Muslim in name only.

If we read back in the underlying texts for Christianity and Judaism and Islam, we will find exhortations to violence and intolerance of outsiders or people who are different.

I think it’s very important to distinguish between the extremists and other branches of that religious tradition.

There are violent and dangerous sects and cults in any religion and we need to accept and join with those who are peaceful and tolerant, rather than rejecting them and lumping them with the more dangerous factions.

    1. That’s a lie: Muslims who ‘integrate’ still don’t eat pork. In my almost 30 yrs of Canada I never saw anyone to declare self Muslim, even in name only, and eat pork. Maybe if they stop considering themselves Muslim? In which case they are apostates, and based on Sharia Law they should be killed.
Btw, painting all religions with same brush is another lie. Actually Islam is not even a religion, it’s a hateful antisemitic and militaristic cult of death. Not a religion.

And ewe are full of shit, full stop, I’v had the same exerience as Allen D. And I probably have interacted with more Muslims than you and Allen combined.
And yes Islam is a religion, an Abrahamic one, just like kristianity and Judaism. Also, many Orthodox Jews are much closer to Islam than kristianity, and that is what I has observed and was told by a Jewish friend, who I worked with. Fact, many Orthodox Jews hate kristians.
Try keeping your biASSed BS out of public discussions.

        1. BS, it’s one thing to just ‘hate’ Christianity in some private conversation and a whole another thing waay worse to actively kill fellow humans just because some warlord from 6th century said so.
There’s lots of crazy imams out there who actively promote hate against Jews.
          And what about Oct 7?

    2. “I think it’s very important to distinguish between the extremists and other branches of that religious tradition.”

I think it’s very important for the ‘moderate’ Muslims to denounce the actions of the extremists whenever necessary. In public…with no qualifiers, equivocations or “buts”.

      1. The trouble is Fred, moderate Muslims are just like all other moderate Canadians: too cowardly or lazy to speak up and stand up.

    3. “Most who’ve integrated into Canada eat pork, drink beer, do not fast, and generally are Muslim in name only.”

I dont know many Muslims on a personal basis, but the ones I do know are all what I’d call “observant” Muslims; no pork or beer. But none of them are fanatics.

However, I’ve seen plenty of the other kind in Ottawa and Cornwall – angry and scowling with their women bundled up in black burlap.

    4. Glad you found those elusive peaceful and reasonable Muslims. Now send them back to their home countries, which NEED the influence of peaceful and reasonable Muslims.

    5. Allen, you are wrong in so many ways. in the first place it is nearly impossible to be able to separate so-called moderates from Islamists since they both hold to the tenets of Islam as any serious scholar of Islam will tell you. nor do you understand the positional authority model of Islamic culture compared to the West.
second your contention that the underlying texts of Christianity and Judaism both advocate violence is ridiculous to say the least. Only someone who has a superficial view of Christianity and Judaism would make such a statement. Any violence in the OT was specific to that era and I defy you to find any incitement to violence in the NT. You fail to understand that Islam views the behavior sanctioned in the Quran and hadiths as normative to this day. do everyone a favor and start researching a bit before you start pontificating. By the way, one of the most prominent Islamic academics was asked what would happen if the Islamic schools of jurisprudence announced that the death penalty for apostacy was removed from sharia law..his answer was” it would be the end of Islam”.. what does that tell you???

  8. Thoughts and prayers to my Canadian friends who have to send your tax dollars to pay for this garbage.

  9. I’m disappointed. It would have been safer for both Canada and Israel, had they detained them instead.

  10. The headline seemed to imply that this denial of entry would be applied to all Canadian MP’s when it specified “Canadian parliamentarians”.

The CBC seems to be concerned about party affiliation only if it supports a certain narrative, say if a conservative MP was denied entry into a country it would be highlighted with reference to a certain party position that they describe as extreme or far right.
In this case the denial of entry was described as an attack on Canadian MP’s not liberal MP’s with dual citizenship.

  11. “CBC News has learned that a delegation of Canadian parliamentarians has been denied entry into Israel this morning after trying to enter by land from Jordan.”

Did they have visas? why would they not fly into Israel directly?
