  1. Not gone enough, not by half. We need the entire Liberal party to be disbanded in shame for the farcical lackluster, all hat, no cattle performance in their role as government.

    1. He’s one trick pony … why stay on at all?

I will guess it’s because he has nothing else to go to … his expertise is very limited to the fake climate change myth. I’d say he’s used up that trough. He’s got nothing else, but i nice paycheck and a lovely retirement fund waiting for when he actually does leave the party.

  2. KKKarnage just embarASSed his climate liar, that’s why the FOOL resigned from cabinet. Makes his past stupidity look like what it was!

  3. So, one of twenty-eight ticks on a dying moose decides that he’s really just a louse.

Hardly cause for celebration, let alone reversal of the diagnosis.

  4. C’mon!
    He’s Entitled to his Entitlements!
Thank you David Dingwall. Set the substandard for Liberals for all time.

  5. Carney turfed Guiltbot but allowed him to save face by pretending that he is quitting over his ‘green’ principles.
Shark Carney is doing this subtle shite with all of the Turd’s nerds. Freeland, Blair, Wilkinson, et al.
    Now do Patty Hairdo.
Mark Miller, the Jack O Lantern is hardest hit.
Oh, and Carnage played Danielle like a fiddle.
WEXIT…don’t hold your breath. Check the new mayors of Cowtown and Edmonchuk.
    Have a nice day.

  6. The hairy French c*nt has a full pension.
He should resign from the planet by taking a walk in a deep peat bog where his carbon will be properly captured.

  7. Still gonna be no pipeline!
Ever try to deal with Indians? No offer is high enough!
By the way, I had better hopes for Danielle.

    1. There are some bands that you can deal with….but that is the real reason why Trudeau dropped the audit requirement…..many bands are horribly corrupt and billions of dollars simply vanish into thin air.

    2. Danielle is playing this perfectly so far. She is being patient and positive as she should. She will always protect Alberta. I couldn’t ask for a better leader for my province.

  8. I would rather see the grifter back in his Orange Jump Suit, for all the carnage his policies have done.

  9. Hidden in the fine print.
Alberta starts paying Carbon Taxes very soon.
Alberta gets a promise to (maybe) start a pipeline by 2040.
    Smith SOLD YOU ALL OUT.
Brian Jean likes the deal too.
AB, your UCP sold you out.
What was Smith’s price to sell out?

    1. Yup. Did you hear Smith’s voice burn today?
The sound of selling out with a barely controlled gag reflex.
Add the new mayors of cowtown and edmonchuk and kiss wexit goodbye.
      Nenshi in the wings,
      Have a nice day.

    2. Why do you call this a sell out. If she pulls this off and we get a pipeline to Prince Rupert she will be an even more well respected hero than she already is.

      1. You will not see the beginning of a pipeline for years. Carbon taxes and carbon capture up the wazoo. It renders you non competitive. There are several competing suppliers none of which impose these costs on their industry. The Us is ramping up production, Guyana is ramping up, Venezuela’s 3 million missing barrels will be brought back on line by Chevron once Maduro is gone, Alberta will be the high cost producer.

    3. The current choce in Alberta is Danielle Smith or Nenshi, Nenshi is in favor of shutting down the oil industry, sending more money to Quebec, and running massive deficits.

      1. Nenshi has come out (double entendre!) in support of this memorandum of understanding.

This is how we know it’s a bad deal.

“Naheed Nenshi, Leader of the Official Opposition of Alberta, issued the following statement in response to the Canada-Alberta MOU signed Thursday:
“This MOU is good for Alberta. We need more pipeline capacity, energy exports, and the oil and gas jobs that come with it.
“I am happy to see that this MOU comes with investment commitments for Pathways, the world’s largest capture, utilization, and storage project. I am also happy to see it includes a more stringent industrial carbon pricing agreement as well as emissions reduction measures that reaffirm net-zero 2050, and that it highlights the essential role of partnerships on this project.”

I think the additional carbon tax will apply in AB in April of 2026. I expect AB separation fever will be at a pitch and while I’m never supportive of a new or rising tax, it does come at a time which would pile on for those of us who support separation. That is the only bright side I see in this M.O.
I generally support AB Premier Smith, but only support this as I see it as advancing the case for separation, and I don’t think that was her intention here…

It’s a crap deal, with a possible light at the end of the tunnel.

  10. Don’t know why Guilbeault would resign, it’s not like a pipeline to the west coast is ever going to be built. What company would trust the government of Canada not to change the rules when their pipeline is half built, like Trudeau did?

  11. Carney signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). Classic “Bait and Switch”. Promises from a politician are worth….what? Look at Carney’s history. Look at Carney’s wife’s history. Think about how this guy was perfectly willing to sacrifice his fiduciary duties in pursuit of his ill-conceived “Net Zero Program.” The same program every significant member bailed out of the minute someone started to suggest that they opened themselves up to criminal charges, and civil suits.

This is an attempt at giving the appearance of patronizing Alberta while giving up nothing. Guilbeault’s departure is a planned attempt at adding weight to the MOU. He’ll be back after Albertans vote down and departure in the next election. The games politicians play.

  12. Really, do these Liberal goofs ever go away? Like Carney’s Potemkin village fakery, I’m going to call this for what I think it is…Kabuki theater.

  13. Guibeault has done more damage to the confederation than any modern Canadian politician, Trudeau included.

  14. JFK said “nothing in politics happens by accident, everything is planned!”
    It’s all smoke and mirrors.
