    2. Chicago is a gun free zone by proclamation of its generational Democrat government. And a ‘restorative justice’ zone by proclamation of its Democrat governor, the right honorable JB Pritzker, and Democrat mayor, the right honorable Brandon Johnson — see: SAFE-T Act.

      They’re also dealing with extreme tax hikes too. The consequences of voting eventually get felt.

      2. The consequence of straight party voting is not felt by Chicago voters. Both Democrat and Republican governors have transferred the cost of budget items like public transit and public education to the entire state – all rubber stamped by a Chicago Democrat controlled legislature.
        In my lifetime of 74 years, I have watched as primarily Democrat governors, House Speakers, aldermen, judges, police commanders… are convicted and sentenced to prison. In the years since former governor Democrat Otto Kerner’s conviction in 1974, the progressive Democrat stranglehold on Chicago, Cook County and Illinois has only grown stronger while Republican flight from Illinois continues year after year.

    2. I would add a PREMEDITATED hate crime. Premeditated attempted murder. Attempted heinous painful murder. The shocking part of this story is that this … as of yet (as always) unidentified man … was carrying a bottle filled with flammable liquid (gasoline?) which he poured on this poor woman as set on fire after chasing her around the train. So he filled a water bottle with gasoline and went LOOKING for a white victim. Not a spontaneous crime.

      He will be released after spending a weekend speaking with a mental health counselor. Because systemic racism or something.

    1. Note: in Chicago and New York City, both bastions of Progressivism, no one, as in zip zero nada, came to the train victims on fire aid. Darn, Mayor Johnson’s social workers missed another opportunity to reduce crime and racism.
