  1. Elon Musk fired approximately 6,000 employees after acquiring Twitter, which he later rebranded as X. This represented about 80% of the company’s workforce at the time.

I wonder if 80% of all the high tech companies employees are as useless as Twitter’s were?

    1. Those 6,000 employees were the ones censoring (or like mine, just plain nuking) conservative accounts. I remember one time replying critically to an FBI tweet pointing out how they didn’t bother investigating Larry Nassir, the doctor molesting all those teenage gymnasts, even after receiving multiple complaints. They just plain nuked the tweet. No “you have to manually delete this tweet”, they just went ahead and did it themselves! It was then I knew Twitter was run by Deep State communist child diddlers. The final straw was when I replied critically to an NPR tweet. They just nuked my account. No warning- no nothing.

  2. It’s impossible to overstate how important this was. It really was the first opening in the fight against the monolith of disinformation that existed in social and main stream media. The others are still trying, but it doesn’t work anymore.

    1. Well said. Musk is an American hero for saving the First Amendment. And mind you, he is definitely still not out of danger. The Democrats will try to imprison him if they ever get back in power. They’ll find some obscure regulation or just plain have him assassinated like they tried to do to Trump.

      1. DeMarxists want to imprison anyone who opposes, aka defeats them, whom they call fascists. Go figure.

As they circle the drain. Julian Epstein, whom I term a JFK Democrat, put it succinctly to Mark Levin last night, that his party has vacated the centre and Trump filled that void to attract its vote, Democrats now reduced to pandering to their far left flank that has hijacked policy, and are about to get their skis waxed.

    2. He went from a hero of the left to their public enemy number one. Even here, he got promoted from “subsidy fraud boy” to someone who could be at least respected for standing up to the bullies with his particular set of skills.

  3. Heh.
So Elon proved how evil all the Alphabet agencies really are.
    North America shrugged.
Then DOGE showed us how every tax dollar supports a host of destructive parasites.

Made me rethink the Subsidy Boy title because I know every tax dollar will be stolen and used against my interests.
Better that Elon and company burn those dollars in extravagant rocket flights than allow the Parasitic Overload to use them to imprison us.
And through DOGE Elon Musk showed us the way, which,so far,we have refused to go.
