  1. Oh…I can answer that. The reason is that the Vatican was misrepresenting themselves to the public. They were operating Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and Caritas using US taxpayer funds. The Vatican, of course, took full credit for these “great works” while those providing the financing (without their knowledge) received not even a thank you.

    When USAID was closed down, the estimate is that over 75% of CRS workers were terminated. And, here’s the kicker…according to the Vatican, USAID funds were only 25% of the funds that the Vatican receives from the US. 75% of the funds from the US (courtesy of the US taxpayer without acknowledgement) are still being applied through various other “involuntary charity” programs.

    1. Now do Catholic Charities who were making $hundreds of millions “resettling” illegal aliens … and who now are actively protesting against ICE upholding the LAWS and the BORDERS of the USA. And sayyyyy Catholics … where are all the missing children!?

      1. Yeah, no. Roman Catholicism is the greatest enemy of Christianity. It does the opposite of what the Bible teaches and is the biggest persecutor of actual Christians, and has always been so.

        Roman Catholicism is a cult. It is based on superstition and lies. Its clergy are rife with pedophiles. It invented and perfected communism and concentration camps.

  3. The Catholic church has fallen so far. I was born and raised Catholic, served on the altar for a few years. (No I did not have molester priest in my parish). For a time I went to church every week day every other week to serve on the altar, I got married to my Catholic wife in her parish, we raised our kids in the church and catholic schools. Things were however gradually changing from religion to politics. One day our church had the local bishop as a guest and his sermon involved stating that we should all vote liberal (Chretien era) because they reflect “our values”. Left and never went back.

  4. He’s a bad shepherd…not the first and my guess is he won’t be the last. The one before him wasn’t a day at the beach either. Blessing the pagan goddess Pachamama was a bridge too far you might say.
    Anyways… 2000 plus years and the RC faith keeps chugging along with or without them.

  5. Remember when asking “Is the Pope Catholic” was a rhetorical question in answer to any question that had an obvious answer. Now it is a legitimate inquiry that requires an answer.

    And another reason to avoid Mass and find a less woke, nonpolitical church.
