1. Sounds like the governor forgot that Delaware’s numero uno graft artist is retired now and the new resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave isn’t in his pocket.

3. But HE’s a MATH teacher!

   My mind immediately returned to my Freshman year in HS … when in Geometry class … a particular brainy freshman, who weighed about 80lbs … would routinely have to FIX the math teacher’s proofs on the chalkboard. Yeah … math teacher.

      my math experince consisted of abject laziness and disinterest resulting in very exacting and barely passing marks (just enough to get past the halfway mark)
      until grade 11 one of the hottest cutest rookie teachers l ever laid eye on.
      so lm thinkin ‘lm gonna impress her’ right away the mark that 1st term sot up to mid 80s.

      calculus.

      l turned into her hero since she was very steeped in the suject and new at conveying facts to the class, l *on the other hand* had one foot in both camps; very familiar with where the confusion and uncertainty lay BUT a newfound knack for analysing the problem and getting the answer.
      as such l was able to explain things ‘in laymans terms’ and walk them thru the process.

      then *I* was *her* hero.
      decades later l looked her up and 2 weeks after that she called me from Victoria BC asked me why l waited so long to look her up so l blurted out ‘l had to wait for the internet to be invented’.
      and went on to explain the LASTING lesson in that year was if l did the work l would get the marks a big motivator to go on and get a BSc computer science
      God Bless you Elaine Kucherepa. you passed away in 2010 and it grieved me immensely
