Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

This gives me hope for the UK, in a rather twisted and perverse way. Apparently, by encapsulating the item inside a container that is too large to conceal about the person, potential shoplifters are thwarted and demoralized.. or at least shamed into avoiding them as theft targets. Meanwhile.. In blue-city USA, such actions are an exercise in futility.. these encased items are stacked to the brim of a shopping cart, and then the shoplifters simply build up a head of steam, set the pace to ‘ramming speed’, and brazenly burst out the front doors of any given store with entire cartloads of ill-gotten goods. Employees with an aversion to being shot or stabbed simply stand aside and film the criminals for upload to TikTok. It is probable that the encapsulating containers are a feature rather than bug, as I can imagine in any given shoplifter’s home, one of those containers filled with stolen sugar, and another filled with stolen coffee, etc..
This is where the idiot Left have brought us: we lock up store goods but not shoplifters.
