Hamas leadership living Large in Qatar. Why has Qatar been supporting Hamas all this time?
One, it gave them a certain amount of domestic authenticity, leverage (and loot) within the ME — Palestinian issue is a hot topic after all and it’s very popular with Ma and Pa Haji. Two, 2011, Obama requested that Qatar provide a base for Hamas leadership to help open lines of communication (Israel went along with this).
Two guesses as to the American president who requested that Qatar kick out Hamas. (although to be fair, Biden’s administration did as well — which means the worm had likely turned).

When I saw that picture shortly after the Oct.7th attack of the three *billionaire* Hamas leaders smiling for the camera in their luxury hotel suite in Qatar, my first thought was that Israel should be striking them right then and there. There should be no sanctuary for terrorists, anywhere.
