Throughout the day, wind output from the 1722 wind turbines (at last count) totalling 5,688 megawatts of total generation capacity hovered around the 1 per cent output mark, ranging from 1.9 to 0.8 per cent.

    That sounds an awful lot like “drill baby drill”. You appear to be arguing against your own Trump rebuke …

    1. Well, it’s his rebuke, he can argue with it if he likes. Frankly, I appreciate that he’s saving me the effort. And what’s wrong with multilateral wells? I think they’re great! There should be multilateral wells at every railway siding! When it comes to multilateral wells, I’m on his side!

      1. There are two sides to every issue, except for multilateral wells, which have several sides. They are so complicated, they have not just pluses and minuses, but square roots! And I hope you’ll forgive me for goofing on a serious issue. You’re doing valuable reporting here and I’m just too frivolous by nature to give you the frank praise you deserve.

I find the “NDP orange” background in the graph to be helpful to my understanding of that area of the graph which represents “nothing” … and an absence of contributions which society may find helpful in keeping the lights on, cooking with electric stoves, using dough mixers, or charging your EV.
