Well done, my droogies. (No, I can’t identify who will write “comment 2M”, so don’t go flooding the posts in hopes of a prize.)

“Comment 2M”
Sometimes red wine is better than beer, sometimes beer is better than red wine.
I recall the run up to one million a decade or more ago…
In and around the 7:00 mark the tune rises from the ashes … just as my 2,000,001 comment will rise from the ashes after missing it … by THAT much. Like my typical lotto ticket that correctly matched ONE number out of 7 numbers.

ahhhhh kenji tq tq tq for a chuckle. you too eh? ha ha ha!!!!
If killer marmot wins we’ll know the site has been compromised by tam and pfizer. 🙂
I’m the reason there are so many comments. People love to politely and constructively critique my opinions.
And I, too, consider your rebuttals (mostly) polite … (mostly) peaceful.
While you are a backwards, “AUTORITY” sheep, you’re not that important.
We just love mocking a bowing drone of anything your government dictates.
There’s another troll of the past, that shall remain nameless, that generated far more derision and scorn than you.
Go get your next ClotShot, Tard!
There’s some of that polite and constructive feedback right there.
Can I drive traffic or what?
The odometer on my aging Lexus just rolled over 150,000. Any more excitement than that and I’d have to visit urgent care.
You call that an aging vehicle? It’s just getting broken in.
My old Tacoma is closing in on 560,000 KMs and runs like a top.
I hope for it to last till I’m in my dotage, as I couldn’t stand having to buy a “computer” car with screens and robotic warnings and all that crap.
I have an Express van with 645k
I said it was aging, I didn’t say it was worn out. I had a 2002 Sequoia I planned to drive forever. Sadly there were 12 service bulletins on the air-conditioning system and we couldn’t get parts to fix it any more. Should have kept it just for hunting and winter driving.
I hope some of you stopped to digest the 67,194 posts as well. Especially you who email to ask if I find something they remember from 8 years ago. 😉
I’m curious as to whether you have a sense of how many “subscribers” SDA has?
I just told the wife, how timely and informative all the posts are here on SDA … no, I don’t miss the Drudge Report .. at all … for knowing all the news that’s fit to print is coming to SDA.
Kenji, every morning the first site I look at is SDA, then Zero Hedge and Gateway Pundit.
All great sources
“Kenji, every morning the first site I look at is SDA, then Zero Hedge and Gateway Pundit.”
SDA first, then PolitiPage (Gateway Pundit is the first to be read, in the upper right corner, Legal Insurrection and Hannity closer to the middle and Breibart and Zero Hedge are last at the bottom of the page), then Citizen Free Press.
Can’t take too much of the overt Jew-hatred at ZH, though. Sometime I will read definitely non-political threads there just to count how many posts are made before someone tries to blame the Jews for climate change, crime in US cities, LGBT stuff, etc. Not sure why the SPLC hasn’t added them to their ‘hate’ list yet
Not me. First is Star Phoenix obits to confirm I’m not listed, then it’s total SDA. So far, so good.
“Well done, my droogies.”
Been watching “A Clockwork Orange” have you?
It’s one of the two movies that I’ve seen(the other was Who’ll Stop the Rain) that are scripted almost word for word from the books.
Wasn’t it the other way around, the book followed the movie.
The book was written by Anthony Burgess in 1962. The movie was 1971.
I have no doubt they republished the book after the movie release to cash in.
“Been watching “A Clockwork Orange” have you?”
The sad thing is, she knew that every one of us would immediately recognize the reference. 😉
Well, Fred, I wouldn’t call it a sad thing.
More of a solidarity thing.
As for Burgess, if anyone here is a nerd for language and linguistics, check out Anthony’s excellent book entitled “A Mouthful of Air.”
Burgess wrote some eclectic stuff.
Been here from pretty much the beginning, Kate.
VERY WELL DONE!!
I check SDA many times a day to see what is current.
Pretty good for a girl from Saskatchabush.
I knew a girl who had a saskatchabush.
Two million comments, eh? That’s really something. ~:D Go Kate Go!
2M posts! So where does that rank SDA in the world of blog postings/comments Kate?
Serious congrats Kate! I’ve been following this blog since ~2004-ish.
I remember one of your earlier posts, something along the lines of having to go to Vanscoy for shopping, saying “the only thing I can’t get in Vanscoy is laid”.
And a while after you posted a pic of ‘tamed’ hyenas with the caption “Comment Please”
Been laughing ever since. Thanks for your brilliance!
also ya know yer having an effect when the ptb ‘powers that be’ *attempt* to heap scorn but only cause the ‘streisand effect’. HA HA HA !!!
p.s. ALL in favour of the necessity to log in. the ‘filter’ so much easier
to second guess.
Finally tried to register and it worked.
I was so glad to have stumbled onto (into?!?) the SDA blog about 14-15 yr ago.
So much of awesome…hey Donald Chrump, don’t chrust China, China is asshoe
