  1. CBC “Dawn Farrell, chair of the board of directors of the Trans Mountain Corporation, has been named the CEO of the Liberal government’s Major Projects Office, a central desk based in Calgary aimed at accelerating regulatory processes for ‘nation-building’ infrastructure projects.
Farrell has almost four decades of experience in the energy industry, having served as an executive vice-president for B.C. Hydro and CEO of TransAlta, one of Canada’s largest wind power producers, before becoming Trans Mountain’s CEO in 2022.”
So a BC executive with a background of windmills and helping Trans Mountain go from $5Billion to over $30Billion is the new Infrastructure Czar? I await proof

    1. So another loser, like Carney, with a pedigree of being in the room but making no real accomplishments.

  2. Don’t know if this has been posted as yet. But NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani had trouble with a 135-lb bench press at a photo-op:

Doing a Google search on this, it’s extraordinary how the corporate media cartel has censored this story, mtunny as it is. Some British corporate media are reporting this, but across the pond, no way. Here, only the independent social media have mentioned this.

    1. Suing a Democrat in a Democrat controlled court, in a Democrat state. What will the result be?

      1. Well …there is that.

But “damages” should be easy to document.
        however
The court is likely to say … “well, you could always have closed and/or moved like all the other people and businesses”

  3. Film intro says “No period in Chicago’s history was more violent than the years of prohibition … In 1932 there were 365 murders committed in Chicago … eight policemen were shot down in the line of duty”

How does that compare to now??? Seems maybe “violent but mostly peaceful” in comparison – but I’m no historian 😉

PS: “Policeman shot dead in Speakeasy – eighth this year”

  4. Also, the protagonist, James Stewart, just wanders round the rough areas without apparent concern. Could this happen today?

    (good film BTW)

  5. ‘Appeasement of Palestinian terror repeats the mistakes of the 1930s’
Speaking to Sky News Australia PM Netanyahu warned that, ‘any leader who supports a Palestinian state supports radicalism, also in their own countries. If the West doesn’t take a stand, the crocodile will come for them too.”
