Deep Impact

NBC was so embarrassed by MSNBC that they showed up at the door and took their letters back.

Cable news channel MSNBC is going to rebrand as My Source News Opinion World, or MS NOW, according to a new report from the New York Times. The change is happening because Comcast’s NBCUniversal is spinning off many of its cable TV assets into a new company called Versant, severing ties with the “NBC” part of MSNBC.

HAHAHAHA: MSNBC Rebrands as MS NOW, but the Web Domain Is for Korean Snowmobiles

  1. The “MS” portion of MSNBC always confused me (even before their ratings dive). It stands for Microsoft (MS)….only Microsoft no longer holds an interest or financial position in the channel. I suppose Microsoft’s departure agreement included allowing the channel to continue to use their trademark/ name out of expedience. I bet they kind of regret that.

So now it’s “Microsoft National Organization of Women”. 😀

    1. When I see “MS” I think “multiple sclerosis”. “MS NOW” sounds like a charity, or perhaps a threat.

    1. “Were the genius’ from Jaguar and Bud Lite not available?”

They were busy putting lipstick on other pigs…

  2. If they’re looking for Korean companies to emulate … may I suggest the name of my (cheap) bidet toilet seat … the company name is: INUS

or … they could always change the first vowel.
