   More folks today posting on X/Twitter of going for a walk in “the woods” without saying if they are or are not in the Nova Scotia woods.

   A couple are going out on a limb, declaring they have never spontaneous combusted once.

   l, moi, Kritter assert l was born in the exact place and time for me to flourish.

   17 in 1969 with an early knack for things electrical, saved the day the end of that Woodstock summer by substituting a 20 amp fuse in the socket related to duty cycle. the infrequent but inevitable spikes past 15 amps went unnoticed. until it went past 20 amps and the silence woke me from my nap, put another 20 in, go upstairs and see a crowd of about 400-500 enjoying the free music.
   from there l took my knack for things electric into the digital realm. and found myself holding a 25K RAM module in place whilst the engineer effected the connection.
   Q: how much this cost the university Walter? A: $50,000 (you could buy a house).
   then l got a promotion to another university and one of my innovations related to consolidating disk space (remember that?). . . . . . . . went all the way to the Burroughs User Group according to my boss.
   then another 10 years similar success with desktops etc as a self employed contractor.
   then finally the bookend, 5 years as an electricians assistant. which ended 2005. l retired in 2007 using my autism accurately as grounds (showing examples) my lack of interpersonal skills continued to thwart employment.

   its all getting outsourced now. and my autism would DOOM me if l had to navigate using *these* rules of today’s wokies instead of reliance on machines, tools, proven theories and hard factual knowledge.

   for me now, its all a grotesque modern Shakespearian tragicomedy that lm NOT part of.
   and after >50 years l have acquired a very high batting average spotting what trends are taking hold. the major one now is the gradual but accelerating demise of Canaduh.
   fostered by Liberals, supported and promoted and facilitated by voters aka propaganda receptacles.
   to back up my claim l point to my BSc computer science and BA political science.
   the joke is ‘which discipline in 2025 is more predictable’

      1. then l called 1-800-670-4357 selected an option none of which were related to my question, and made the observation that snitch lines were a popular tactic of nazis and communists.
         and hung up.
