  1. My FIRST rule of highway safety is to avoid driving in and around big rigs at all cost. I always “drive to the open space” … just as a nimble running back breaks free from the crowd of obstacles. I accelerate PAST trucks, never drive in a big rig shadow, and never change lanes anywhere near them.

I cannot tell you how frustrating it is when some panic-stricken old liberal is driving on the left side of big rigs … matching their speed … and clogging the passing lane. They’re locking themselves into the most dangerous spot on the freeway. Idiotic.

Yeah, I assume most truckers are all minimum wage, illiterate, ESL speaking “newcomers” who have nothing left to lose. And drive with their cultural … machismo.

    1. When I took my motorcycle test last year, there were truckers taking their tests as well. I watched a guy try to back up his cab and hook his trailer. He blew it twice while I was watching. I am pretty sure bro passed though, he was smiling later. Had a translator with him too…

But then I watched almost everybody but me put their feet down during the figure-8 and slalom around the cones section, and I was riding a 900cc monster. Some of the #HardlyFerguson riders paddled around like ducks. (I do admit my acceleration-and-stop test could have been better. You’re not supposed to lock the front tire, right?) One or two others managed it on 300cc bikes. My translator stayed home. ~:D

      1. But could you do the figure-8 with your translator riding behind you … “holding on”?

  2. L – If you look closely you can see 16 dead Humboldt Bronco hockey players and staff and the broken bodies of many more. All we get is a conspiracy of silence, and the wandering spirits of the dead haunt our roads, crying out for Justice!

There is one last, damn big face-off coming…

  3. “I am willing to die on this hill”…..to take a line from Inglourious Basterds “Oblige him”.

  4. Back to Lévesque, maybe he will change his tune when a close female relative is subjected to FGM as per some imam’s interpretation of sharia law.

  5. In ’04 I worked in Vancouver and was surprised that every trucker who delivered a load to site was Indian.
    Rude, ignorant assholes at that.
Now they’ve spread across the country like emerald ash borers and we all pay the price.

Except the Mark Wisemans, Mark Carneys and Marc Levesques of the world.
    They never pay.

  6. Marc need to go climb a hill in Afghanistan and see what kind of culture he’s enriching Canada with.

  7. “Since I took action to enforce language proficiency requirements for truckers, our state partners have put roughly 1,500 unqualified drivers out of service. That’s what I call results!” Duffy said in an X post.

“If you can’t read or speak our national language — ENGLISH — we won’t let your truck endanger the driving public. America First = Safety First ,” he added.

Most every morning at least 1 semi-truck is reported overturned, hit a bridge or dropped its cargo here on the major roads criss-crossing Chicago and Northwest Indiana. Of course, Indiana is a red state so commercial licenses are lost by non-English speakers driving thru while our Illinois government prides itself on “Foreigners/Illegals First”.

    1. If you can find a trucker that speaks English or French around here you’re doing pretty good. Finding one that can read is also tough.

    2. I’ve heard second hand reports that they park their trucks when faced with navigating the steep inclines of our icy prairie valleys. Perhaps, for the best.

  8. Yet another Liberal trying to make the discussion about the immigrants themselves instead of the failed and reckless Liberal policies. We had an immigration policy that works fairly well for this country, so of course they had to screw it up.
