  5. How can he do this without going through Parliament? I believe they voted on this in 2024 and the motion was roundly defeated. Do we now have a dictatorship here in Canada. If this goes through I know that I for one will be ashamed to call myself a Canadian. Is Carney doing this because the UK and France are doing this? Is this “for where the EU goes so shall Canada”!! It is high time to bring down Snidely Whiplash – our Prime Mortician. As soon as possible.

    1. I think his weasel word talking point is, he’s only going to recognize a Palestinian state if certain conditions are met, so officially he’s not yet recognizing a Palestinian state.

      This, of course is pure poppycock. It’s the announcement that is important to Hamas.

      1. The only condition for Hamas/HZ and their Palestinian enablers is the death of Israel and her people.
        Palestine replaces with prejudice, not joins Israel. Our foolish PM shows his lack of depth and experience.
        Going for the easy fixes which are actually the status quo, or worse than that with recognition over support.

        Failing on trade, betraying federal workers, defacto veto to provinces and collectivist clients like natives not representing their people on energy development, endless study and inaction on homes, all while racking up record deficits and debt service charges, prosperity crowded out by parasitic partisan progressivism.

    I was struck by how much, he resembles the pointy-haired boss in the Dilbert comics.

    On the political angle, Mark Carney has persuaded me of the wisdom of a two state solution
    for Canada. The Republic of Western Canada and the failed state that, Trudeau and Carney
    have rendered us into.

  13. I hope that my Canadian friends with whom I winter in Arizona every year understand that they are now citizens of a country that is on the opposite side of the USA in a shooting war.

    I’d try to get hold of a US-based license plate this winter.

  14. Trump should announce that the US is going to recognize Quebec as a Free and Independent Country in September. He should also do the same for every independence movement in the UK and France.
