    I notice what looks like stacks of Speakers being driven by McIntosh amps. So I google “Hot Tuna McIntosh Amps” and what pops up but my favorite Steve Hoffman Forums … something of “The Oracle” for vinyl enthusiasts. Steve Hoffman is/was the premiere Audiophile Vinyl Mastering Engineer. And sure enough … those are McIntosh MC 2300 amps … released in 1971 … still sought-after McIntosh equip. And not only did Hot Tuna run their instruments thru the MC 2300’s but so did The Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead.

      The MC 2300 weighs 128 lbs and delivers 600 amps of pure “warm” McIntosh sound when monoblocked. warm … even though it is a solid state not a tube amp. I own the smaller, earlier McIntosh MC 2105 amp … and it is nearly as “warm” sounding as my monoblocked Mc 275’s

      That was interesting. Unlike you, I am not an audiophile or technical aspects kind of guy, but I appreciate that stuff. I even had a Macintosh tube amp once. Otherwise, I take an interest in what guitars are being used, and what tunes need to be turned up to 11.

        1. If you mean he has no cause to complain, I generally agree. Although there were lots of stories about foreigners (and non-foreigners) who were assured they would not be sent in combat until receiving extensive training and ended up going the same way as this one. I don’t know if the assurances they received were legally binding in any way.

    1. I used to do criminal defense. Very very few of my clients were ever “interviewed” by the prosecutors. That’s usually the last thing you ever want to have happen.
