In the days of my youth, me and my buddies wore the grooves off of a few Led Zep LPs and made speakers distort. I still think that they were the best hard rock band of those long-ago days.
Black Dog.
That Marty McFly scene is still hilarious.
I admit I was a slow adopter of Zeppelin … but after Led Zeppelin II was played EVERY DAY at lunch through giant speakers set on the corners of our HS corridor roof blasting out to the open quad … I became a convert. The teaching staff always lifted the needle when The Lemon Song came on … LOL … did they know something about the lyrics we innocent young teens didn’t understand?
Yes, my Zeppelin vinyl collection is vast … including a couple Test Pressings that cost a few ducats. My favorite Zeppelin lp? Still Led Zeppelin I … hands down.
Maybe 12!!!
A little Canadianna……I PVR’d this a while back and finally watched it last night. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but solid band nonetheless. My son and I have seen them in concert 5 or 6 times and every time we’ve see them, the audience keeps getting younger. I can’t figure that out. Usually the opposite is true for bands 30-40 years old.

Mia Morris covers John Bonham’s brilliant drumming on “Fool In The Rain”.
My favourite Zep cover came from a collection of Zep covers. The story I was told was that this is fellow in Sacramento ran a studio and would offer a bargain rate to new and unsigned bands, if they would cover their favourite Zep song for him and let him have the rights to the track. He collected them and released them as “The Song Retains The Name”, and I recommend it highly. My favourite track is this one:
