Kenji, you’re in California, aren’t you? You’re going to need those stock wins to pay for gasoline going forward. I believe you guys get .65 added to each gallon starting Tuesday. Additionally, vehicle registration costs are going up….and if you have an EV, you end up paying a road charge per mile.
I find it interesting that they slammed the ICE people with new taxes to make up for those lost to EV owners no longer buying gasoline, but then turn right around and nail the EV owners with a brand new tax to make up for something they already are about to collect from ICE owners.
And, let’s not forget that Ottaway borrowed California’s conservation program on all appliances (word for word).
Most of the sane US looks at California as a playpen of idiots with really good ideas if they were 7 years old and learning disabled. Glass houses and all that.
We already cannot pay outrageous utility costs which have spiked UP UP UP at twice the rate of inflation: Electric, Nat. Gas, Water, Sewer, and Trash are all unaffordable. I welcome the massive increases in all the taxes, fees, and PUC-authorized Rate increases.
Perhaps THEN … the people of CA will wake from their woke trance. Some say it took 4 years of the Biden shitshow to remind Americans just how much we NEEDED Trump to set things right. I’m counting on the IDIOTS in CA finally figuring it out.
However … I suspect the sheep in this State actually BELIEVE they are somehow more virtuous when they’re paying PUNISHING Taxes and Fees for their “sinful” lifestyles. Sadly … that’s more likely than anyone WAKING the hell up in this State.
