Good morning my fellow Canadians, In Ottawa yesterday morning, the Bank of Canada—yes, the people in charge of stabilizing your currency, protecting your savings, and guiding the economy through the storm—held a press conference. The takeaway? They have no idea what’s going on.

Seriously, convert some of your spare cash into precious metals. They’re a cushion against out of control central bankers. When things do finally crap our dollars will be worthless.
In 2016 gold was approx $1600 Cdn per ounce and now that same ounce will cost you approx $4800. In less than a decade the canbuck has lost close to 75% of its value when compared to gold and it’s only going to get worse going forward.

The problem has Always Been that the government has had its hand on the wheel.

That quote was beyond ridiculous. The Bank of Canada is a legalized counterfeiting operation. They print money, and in so doing both create inflation (by design) AND enable and encourage wasteful government spending.
Central banks should be made illegal (again) and life would improve for everyone that isn’t a leech on society.
