  1. This has the flavor of foreign interference. The stench of it is so strong you can taste it.

Pump some money into the PQ Greenies, let them run around with their underwear on their heads for a while, whipping up the weak-minded into a nice voting block. Add propaganda and a little spicy rioting to taste. Voila, no pipeline, no coal-fired electricity, no nuclear-fired electricity, and no liquid natural gas for Europe.

Gee, I wonder who would benefit from that?

  2. Good! Pharaoh demands more bricks without straw. Moses is getting a petition together.

  3. WHEN pipelines are built, going east, west or north, Quebec’s opposition should be noted by denying any Quebec businesses, workers, or other individuals from benefitting or taking part in the project in any way. (“Sorry Andre, we need welders, and I’m sure your pretty good, but your residency is in Quebec!”). That would include SNC Lavalin, or whatever the name is they are using to cover up their misdeeds!

  4. Doesn’t the Shitty Canadian Constitution (SCC) have a clause in it that allows the Feds to build stuff in the “national interest” without any provinces’ approval but parliament’s?
If not, fck K-bec anyway. Their hypocrisy knows no boundaries.

  5. Baited and switched. Faster than even I expected. Every fool who voted ’cause Trump should have to read this.
The line about Prince Rupert was my favourite as Lizzie Eby sits as the closed gatekeeper on BC energy projects.

At least we now have a timetable around a separation and referendum, exactly when watermelons promise to “approve” pipelines – two years – plenty of time to gauge AB support, hold a referendum and go their own way.

  6. Quebecers are not going to like the future they’re charting for themselves. When this country disintegrates, and it will unless there is a drastic change of course, they’re going to have to adapt to an English N. America. They’ll be forced to move to English or they’ll be frozen out of the N. American markets.

  7. Milking Cows in the Dark.
    WTF is “environmental sovereignty”?

“If the premier doesn’t want to completely shut the door on a pipeline project, can he at least ensure that environmental sovereignty is defended?” she asked.

  8. Of course Quebec doesn’t want a pipeline with Canadian oil, the Quebec Pension Plan (their own version instead of being a member of the Canadian Pension Plan) is invested in Saudi oil, not Canadian oil…

  9. There is no pipeline project, and there never was, it was just another Carney Lie, amplified by the media, when he was talking about power lines across Canada

  10. Nonexistent pipelines give you so much more! Oh, where is Brian Eno when you need him?
