New Governor, Same As The Old Governor

…it’s net-zero for Canada, net-infinity for Carney.

The latest scheme involves a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project, a facility that uses batteries to store and release electricity on demand. These systems are typically used for grid stabilization, renewable energy integration, and providing backup power during outages, which are growing increasingly frequent in Green-besotted Canada. It turns out that the Ottawa BESS projects for Fitzroy Harbour and Trail Road, which will generate at most 4 hours supply, are to be built by Evolugen, the Canadian renewable energy platform of—you guessed it—Brookfield Renewable.

  1. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the Carney Liberal government’s priorities are enriching giant corporations. That’s Carney’s world and those corporate billionaires are his buddies. Like I’ve said before, Canada is Brookfield and friends newest private equity acquisition. The country will be asset stripped in the same way private equity asset strips their other acquisitions. Key industries and land assets will be driven into distress through federal government regulations and then liquidated and sold off for pennies on the dollar. My guess is that the energy industry, utilities, prime real estate, pensions and agricultural will be the first targets. Corporate giants will buy up the distressed companies, consolidate the market down to a few corporate owners and then skyrocket the prices for consumers.

  2. Well, Jagmeet was right about the government enriching corporations at the expense of regular Canadians. Too bad he had neither the morals nor ethics to back up his words with actions.

  3. Industrial scale green scam rent seeking brought to you by the former chairman of the board, anointed by the LPC, elected by the Eloi, and now PM of a green fascist regime and today blessed by HRH, King Charles Tampon of Green. Canada has realigned with the modern UK under Caliphate con Carney.

  4. Am I a bad person? I do not care that people are in debt up to their eyeballs and can only pay off 59% of their credit cards each month and that there is a condo crisis in the GTA. Our youngest brother was a certified management accountant and he had a saying “Pigs get fat, Hogs get slaughtered” which for those who do not speak economics, means “Do NOT be greedy and spend more money than you make!”

  5. Fitzroy Harbor has a hydro electric dam. Been there almost 100 years. One of the longest dams in North America.
The water behind the dam is a gravity battery.
Most of eastern Ontario gets its electricity from Hydro dams. The Ottawa, Madawaska and St. Lawrence rivers are notable.
These are very stable electricity suppliers.
    WTF?!

    1. at the Henley Regatta in St Catharines Ontariowe the water sits behind a roughly 20 foot high dam.
when l was living in that town spelled with an ‘a’ the local hydro authority put a generator on the dam, l thought *why cant this be done 1,000s of similar places*? do they fall over and catch fire? shatter in a hailstorm? stop working at night/cloud cover etc?
Canaduh is being run, and RUINed be idjits and Liberals.
      oh, wait, THATS REDUNDANT
