         Honestly, that last one’s comments about religion are more troubling to me, but nonetheless…she probably wears neutral colored clothes so she is safe, unlike the bright ceremonial attire of Swiss Guards (very dangerous, that).

         1. Come on now Jane … I LOVE the Swiss Guard colors and the big puffy arms. It looks awesome. I also like the Queen’s Guard’s huge bearskin hats … yes, they are made from Canadian black bear fur.

            The tall bear hats were actually worn in battle to make the soldiers “look” taller and more intimidating. Perhaps the Swiss Guard outfits were designed to ward off the “homophobes” like me?
