      1. …and Biden’s administration had a stellar reputation for it’s clarity and transparency, I suppose… /s

      1. I’d really be interested in your definition of fascism, because I’ll bet it’s not at all like the dictionary definition, which your ideology conforms to a lot more than the current US administration.

Fascism: I do not think it means what you think it means.

    1. The comments were quite interesting, Robert. They ranged from brutal snark to very insightful. Here’s one that I found that explains some of their delusions.

This is the result of being lied to their entire lives. Their friends lie to them in a million pandering ways and call it” being supportive.” Men lie to them to get them into bed. Their parents lie to them and tell them they’re special and princesses. Society lies to them and tells them they’re “stunning and brave” yet also noble victims. So whenever someone comes along and tells them even the smallest of truths, it can’t make it past their egos that have been inflated with decades worth of flattering lies, special treatment, and a mountain of unearned validation.

There are a lot of other good comments, particularly about how personality affects attractiveness. Several guys responding said they would rather date a 4 with a 9 personality than a 9 with a 4 personality. Her personality got a lot of low (much lower than 5) ratings in comments.

    1. What’d you expect in Kanuckistan? Now a one-party state?
      …by ONE VOTE!!!
Think about that for a moment…

      1. Show me where any of the recounts have gone the other way, UnReal.

It’s funny how it’s only democratic when the liberal wins, isn’t it?

    1. Things to note.
      1. Biggest drop in Conservative support: Alberta, Calgary in particular.
      2. Highest conservative gains: 905
      3. The only one Ontario riding where the Conservative support dropped: Carleton.

      1. Anyone notice how elections canada changed the boundaries of Carlton to include a large chunk of Kanata, which is populated by federal government workers and immigrants???
Anyone care to ask why they would do that?
Probably for the same reason Liebs are winning all the recounts.
And the election results themselves beg to be scrutinized.
Yeah… I accept the results, as what one would expect from a one-party state, but that doesn’t mean I have to believe them.

        1. “Anyone care to ask why they would do that?”

          Because of population changes.

          1. That’s just it, UnReal. The population demographics hasn’t changed, except for immigration, and the immigrants did not move to within the old boundaries of Carlton.
But the boundaries have changed regardless to dilute the conservative base within the old riding that still voted for PP. I know that riding. I used to live just north of Carlton, and just east of Nepean, so I know the demographics of both ridings very well.

        2. Yeah UnMe will tell you that it was an accident (just like him). Again Conservatives increased vote share in EVERY other riding in Ontario except for this one. Let that sink in.

      2. 3. Man Poilievre really doofed it there. Hopefully he doesn’t doof it in Alberta too.

Kinda nervous about that Calgary trend but all in all it shows this ‘west good east bad’ tripe is just tribalist blathering.

        1. And I suppose you can back that kind of rhetoric up with facts? Didn’t think so. The only blather I’m hearing is coming from you.
And I’m sure the long ballot initiative is strictly apolitical, despite targeting PP’s riding not once, but twice.

You must work for the government. You have the intellect, and no, that wasn’t meant as a compliment… Just to be crystal clear.

        2. “Kinda nervous about that Calgary trend,,,”

Nervous? LOL, This from the guy who wanted to end Conservatism after election night.

” but all in all it shows this ‘west good east bad’ tripe is just tribalist blathering.”

Yes, to an extent, however it is AB and SK are forced to subsidize those who hate them, especially the freeloading Queerbec swine. So they do have a pretty good case for a tribe. Morontario OTOH is pretty much paying for itself these days. Not that any of it matters from where you stand. You just hate white people (especially if they are wearing plaid) and that is your overriding principle. Savage.

  1. Everything you learned in university is crap.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-NVtsOF6qU

If you’re right [university administrators], and western capitalism is wrong, show me an institution that you have created that works. What have you built that works?

    Palintir’s CEO Alex Karp.

    1. Karp is amazing, most of all for his honesty and willingness to fly in the face of the Socialist Deceivers. Notice the female news person has nothing to say. She has no idea how to confront honesty. Karp is one to watch. I’m going to look for a dip in Palantir’s price and get back in.

    1. L- +++, with an attitude like that, they are a functional, thriving nation-state; unlike Canada,
which has reached the post nation-state status, without a reformative process due to the
      design of our constitution.

        1. That explains the stock price declining from $20/shr to $117/shr.

    1. “A defeat for tyranny: Turkish student freed after 6 weeks in ICE custody”

      ——

A federal judge ordered Öztürk’s release on May 9 pending a final decision on her claim that she was illegally detained following an op-ed she co-wrote last year criticizing her university’s response to Israel and the war in Gaza.

      ——

She will be deported immediately after her hearing. A US student visa is a *privilege*, not a right, and she abused that privilege. She won’t be the last one deported, either…get used to it.

    1. About 40 years ago I took a coal mine tour at Drumheller, Alberta. It was interesting. I think the mine was still operating seasonally at the time. Tours in the summer. Dig coal in the fall and winter. There is a mine (Atlas Mine) that still offers tours but it isn’t clear you go down the big elevator a couple hundred feet to the actual mine.
